Ever Had A Weird Footbal Dream...

Apart from the most impossible dreams, like Rovers winning the treble, or England qualifying for a tournament, have you ever had a weird dream involving football? I ask this for fun, but also, because I've just woken up having had a weird dream, and mushrooms are illegal now, so it wasn't that.

I dreamt that I was at Customs at LAX, and the man asked me how many clubs Emile Heskey played for.

I said, "Wigan, Birmingham, Liverpool and Leicester." I don't know if I got this right because the man searched me, and found the smallest amount of Marijuana (grains really) and told me I was going down.

I then woke up and snoozed for another five minutes, with the joy of knowing I wasn't going to get bummed in County.

i had a dream that we got relegated and playing the likes of blackpool, preston. Mark hughes got the sack so you could say that was a night mare.

One of the Rovers players moved next door to me, and we got to be best mates. Bizarrely the player was Unlucky Alf from the Fast Show. He got me a game too, against Manure. I was nightmarishly crap, like running through treacle, but we won, after Ewood turned into an athletics stadium at half time! WTF!

And I've not drunk Badger's Arse since.

You're not kidding, the player was one of the current first team to start with (can't remember who), changing into unlucky Alf in scene 2. I didn't think anything about it at the time obviously.

This thread must've got me dreaming about football. The other night's dream I was walking up to a pub with my girlfriend, reached for the door at the same time as someone else and made a crack about him wanting to hold my hand, only to then look at the bloke and it was Kevin Keegan! Had a bit of "big club" banter, before he held the door open for Bobby Robson and Terry Venables to walk in, then tried to trip me up on the way through. Oh what a laugh. Kev turned out to be a very nice bloke. Then I woke up.

The day before the U.S. team played China last summer in a friendly, I had a dream we lost 6-5 to Luxembourg. Boy do I hope that never happens...

before the DC Chicago first playoff leg i dreamed that Guy-Roland Kpene (no longer with the team :() scored 5 goals. Alas, we lost 1-0 and ultimately 3-2 on aggregate (DAMNED HANDBALL!!)
