I seem to find myself giving out most of the boot advice and info in this fourm but I am a little out of the loop on one boot I am thinking about getting the PUMA KSL.

I have been a big fan of this boot for some time interms of liking the classic look and profile, but no Soccer Store in my area carries it so I can never try it on and I always end up ordering something else from Eurosport or buying a different boot form my local shop.

Well I am going to buy some new boots soon and I am really tinking about this shoe, it fits all of my needs in terms of weight and width (since PUMA's are a wider boot) but I was wondering about the length of the last as compared to most other shoes, I wear a 10 1/2 in leather nikes and a 10 in the Copa, does anyone know how this would relate to the KSL?

I am also kinda intrested by the 100% satisfaction thing Eurosport has going on now with this boot saying I can do whatever I need to with it for 30 days then return it if its not up to snuff.

It seems to be a popular shoe among a lot of EPL players as well some of whom are not contracted PUMA players not that it means it a good shoe just becasue they wear it but it does seem to be a highly regarded shoe among higher level players for what thats worth.

Any fedback would be great thanks a lot.

I've never wore Puma but the KSL looks like a great boot. I think they would be a great investment. As for how they fit this might help...http://www.michaelseufer.com/kzforums/viewtopic.php?t=109 Go down to about the 13th post or so . Good luck :).

adidas' and puma's (practically the same company...) sizing tend to be the same (1/2 size larger than nike--)

i would call eurosport for sizing and availability. i got the umbro owen 10 fg and they run 1/2 size smaller than nike. i was just going to order off the internet, but i had a gut feeling that i should call because each company has a different size (and fit). if you dont trust them, just order two, return one or both if you dont like them. i think youll like them though, the leather is soft and the fit is great.

the only complaint i have about eurosport is their shipping. they ship the next day after they process your order...i called like when they opened and they processed my order, but shipped it the next day. :(

EDIT: wrong number

I ordered two f a shoe to get the perfect size not too long ago and Eurosport did the same thing to me with shipping and I even payed extra money for the next day shipping and had to wait over the weekend for my stuff when I ordered it in a Thursday morning, I was so pissed.

The KSL is a great boot. The leather has a permanent water-proofing agent tanned into the leather. Hence it will stay drier, and lighter, than most other leather shoes. This along with the fact the shoe is very light to start with is the reason so many pros prefer it.

Also the outsole is a bit wider thereby giving better stability than many others.

Puma, though founded by the brother of the Adidas founder, is not all that close in fit. I find most players will wear 1/2 size larger in Puma than in Adidas.

Any store worth their salt will guarantee satisfaction with the fit of any shoe. Too bad you don't have a local retailer near you. Buying shoes on the internet or by catalog is a chancy deal at best.
