View Full Version : US Youth Team in Cary, NC?

Last week I know I saw something on the boards about one of the US U-something teams training in Cary, NC and playing a scrimmage against the PDL's CASL Elite (Aug 14, I think).
Anyhow, now I can't find the thread/post.
Can anyone pass on the information? Or at least tell me which U-whatever team it was, so that I can call the CASL office with a reasonably intelligent set of questions?

The last mention of the game vs CASL Elite (which will be the 84s, and not the PDL side I guess) has a date of Aug 14, but I am going to call and check. I'll post what info I get.

U-17 Nats 5-1 CASL
2 goals off free kicks and 1 from a PK for Nats.
Was Freddy Adu #11 in the 2nd half?

The final score was 4-1. (1-0 HT). The US got one PK and one own goal. Freddy was indeed #11.

The U17s will be playing at NC State at 6pm on Saturday. This will be a problem for those of us who will be attending the Courage playoff game at 3:30pm
