There are imo enough fullbacks available

- Bundesliga: Rafinha, Castro
- abroad: Bosingwa, Diogo, Vargas, etc.

so I have no worries in the Lahm case

his agent said some days ago there is no offer for him. In winter break there were two but they didn't take them so why should they have now offers they'd take?

yea and Uli said before the Wolfsburg game he had no clue that there were any rumors regarding Lucio, but then just the other day some newspaper reported an interview where lucio said he was leaving. i don't know what to make of all this anymore.

Rafinha is the only decent one in your list.

And if there is one Bundesliga team who can fight you off right now, it's Schalke.

Hendrik, (someone at) the Kicker overrates attacking fullbacks, no matter what they do at the back. Case in point Gonzalo Castro, after seeing that he left his flank as suicidally open against Nürnberg as he did against Wales, both Löw (who was in the stadium) and I seem to have scratched him from our mental lists for the Switzerland game simultaneously...

And if you let Kicker tell it, Christian Woerns is still a "class" center-back, when he really needs to be put out to pasture.......

I can't say they are biased with Lahm because I don't know.

However, I will say that there are certain players that certain "kicker" writers are biased toward and biased against.

Don't let the fact that those guys get paid to write make you think think they are some great neutral source. Yes, they are the best and most neutral source you'll find in Germany, but quite a few of those guys are fans just like us and they are subject to allowing their allegiances get in the way at times.

I used to be a reporter. Trust me, theirs is just another man's opinion. They aren't any more special than you or I. They have better access, yes, but they are no better at formulating opinions than any of us.

Breno is to inexperienced in European and Bundesliga play. He needs to get some more games under his belt.

Old rumor. Still complete speculation. Uli Hoeness laughed this one off last weekend saying Lucio has said nothing to him about wanting to leave.

True. We always have Van Buyten though.:) Next year we'll have to let Breno slowly gain experience and fitness. Awesome player.:D
