Paulo got injured 1 week ago, yeah once again. He is heading to the USA for a knee operation. He is too injury prone to be considered among the best in Concacaf.

As for Gilberto Martinez, he is a quality right back and has a very bright future. Milan were very serious about buying him either last year or this year but thier interest is all but gone as they signed Cafu and are now looking to sign either Bonera or Trabelsi. He will probably leave Brescia at the end of the year for a bigger club. But if he is the best player in the whole CONCACAF region it is pretty sad. He is a solid right back, nothing more. It's like saying Michel Salgado is the best player in europe.

RMarquez is quality, regardless of the year he and Barca are having. But, the best in Concacaf? No. Gilberto Martinez is coming around, but he needs more time than just playing in Seria A to be the best in Concacaf. Donovan is on a another level with top-notch performances in MLS and WC, but he is not playing for a top league (he needs to move on to EUFA). TRadz is having a fine year also, but overall he can not match the year the keeper at ManU is having. THoward is having the best year of any Concacaf player. Bar none. No one can match his numbers and team's overall standings in league and international competition.

Brad had a great run in 2002/2003. He is not the same this year. He slips down to 7.

Radzinski hasn't done much in CONCACAF because various disputes with the national team, but he has done more than Donovan in club football. Scored consistently in Belgium & England. Scored consistently in Champions League.
