omg how many times do i have to say it.

How can you say a goalie is the best in the area..are we really that bad.

Marquez thats an acceptable answer.

Blanco doesnt even get regular call-ups to the NAT's

Maybe you have a different impression of what a best player should be, but Brad Friedel is the best player in CONCACAF I believe because of the difference he makes everytime he steps onto the field. Blanco should get regular call-ups though, is it an attitude problem?

Looks like Barthez is history. Tim is starting at one, if not the biggest club in the world.

Friedel or Marquez

Best Concacaf forward is definitely not Wanchope or Donovan or Borghetti or Blanco (wherever you want to classify him) but maybe McBride

Best midfielder...I like Torrado or Arellano or John O'Brien.

Let's see who is the best come the Hex though.

My pick is Gilberto Martinez, for those who haven't heard about him, he debuted last season for Brescia, played every match, and almost every single minute of every match(was substituded in one match), got some of the best ratings in the league, above 6.5 in pretty much every match, and was named by an italian newspaper as one of the top 10 defenders in the league, this season he's doing just as good, last january he was going to be traspassed to Milan, but the negotiations flunked, he'll probably get bought by a top team next year (probably Milan).

I wouldn't call Dely Valdez the best player right now, he's very old, about 36 if I recall correctly, it's true he was an excellent player and has been among the top scorers in every team he has been in, but now he's about to retire, and last I heard about him was that he's playing for Nacional Montevideo in Uruguay.

What about Paulo Wanchope of Costa Rica & EPL

And I'd watch out for one of the most underrated most gifted strikers in the concacaf....none other than San Jose's Earthquakes & Canada's own Dwayne De RoSario...this guy has slick moves and is super quick.

Watch the combo of him and Radz in qualifying...they are dynamite together.

Mexican return on for Barcelona's Marquez
