The other day the little apple update thing came up on my computer and instead of an itunes update it was Safari for windows. I didnt install but now im thinking about it. How is it compared to firefox on widows?

safari is ok. A lot less annoying than IE.

the bad thing about it is that safari and old versions of IE have some problems displaying certain things on websites. Developers have to do an extra bit of work in order to have their coding and programming work on this browsers. But hey all browsers have issues displaying certain things.

Other than this, I recommended it. It's faster cleaner looking than IE.

I say Firefox is the best out there. Safari would be in 2nd or 3rd with IE at the bottom of my personal list.

Safari for Windows has kept me from having to buy a macintosh! AKA, I can test websites I create in Safari without having to have MacOS. Excellent.

It's a good browser, but I actually wish it didn't look like MacOS, and had a normal Windows look to it. I'm 50/50 Firefox/IE right now, starting to lean more toward FF, though I should say that I am a fan of IE7... I just have to use IE6 at work, which is a pain in the butt.

well, if you're waiting for Mac products to look more like Windows products I advise you not to hold your breath.

Oh I know.... just maybe they can release their rendering engine and toss it into IE ... I'm sure they wouldn't mind.
