ROVERS captain Ryan Nelsen is keen not to rush his return to first team football although he is now close to a comeback.
After missing the last eight weeks with a troublesome hamstring injury, the New Zealand international made a return to action for the Reserves in their 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic on Tuesday evening.
But after coming through an hour unscathed, the Rovers defender is determined not to push himself too quickly and pick up further injury...
Can't be too soon for Rovers.
On a related note, and to show how valuable Ryan is, DC United has finally plugged the defensive hole created when Ryan left for Blackburn by importing two South American defenders to play central defense.
