Jersey Sponsors for 'Tex

Well the Aztex are announcing they have two shirt sponsors (front/back). Good news. Wish we knew the amount, just for curiosity's sake.

Well I've seen something that puts an average USL1 team's total sponsorship at $250,000 per season. But it varies from team to team and the league does not require teams to disclose their financial records.

I guess the question is how long the sponsorship is for and if it's for PDL and USL teams. I would guess a PDL sponsorship is more like 20-30k. How much would be from the jersey sponsor I don't know. But maybe total sponsorship for both around 300k?

I would guess that it costs about 100k to run a pdl team and maybe as much as 10x that to do USL1. So say around $1mil for both, depending on the kind of players the team buys (any of those 7 or so defecting Cubans available to play next year?), with sponsorships covering a 1/3.

The average cost to run a USL1 team is $1-1.5 million per season. A PDL team is less, but I think its more than $100k. You can get the information from the league. Just gotta ask.
