I'm not too sure about Kovalainen, he is going to be the weak spot for my beloved McLaren team. I just hope that Hamilton's experience last season will carry him through to the title, as the constructor's championship is probably out of reach.

Thanks for reminding me, I didn't check the schedule on Speed, forgot that its at midnight tonight.

Hamilton won!

At least one of my teams still knows how to win.

Going a bit pear shaped for McLaren these last couple races...hopefully they sort it out during this break before Europe.

I haven't been paying alot of attention to F1 but i watched some of the qualifying last night. It was good to see that Sebastian Bourdais finally got an F1 ride. Looks like he's been doing pretty well too. I wonder if he's ever going to get Lasix surgery on his eyes?

Coulthard must be feeling pretty good today.....Lewis...not so good.

Lewis Hamilton will be demoted 10 places on the grid at the French Grand Prix on 22 June as punishment for his pit-lane accident in Montreal.
The Englishman ran into the back of Kimi Raikkonen as the Ferrari driver waited at a red light at the exit. Both were forced to retire.
Race stewards gave Williams driver Nico Rosberg, who ran into the back of Hamilton's car, the same penalty. "I've no argument with the stewards," said Hamilton after the decision.

Lewis isn't the only Englishman who dropped a clanger on Sunday.
Ask Martin Brundle ! :D

Wow...Silverstone was one helluva race!!

Once again, Fox Sports did a superb job of showing commercials at crucial times, not showing park ferme, not showing the full award ceremony or the full post race interview.
I was so looking to forward to seeing this old face smiling up there.

A good race I thought. Nice to see Lewis back on track. (Literally! :D ).
It's the first time in about 5 years that I haven't been to the British G.P.

Lewis....yep, the team got it right this time....and as you quite rightly say Jeff....he "kept it on track". Very proud of him.

'Owzabout some of those passes by Heidfeld & Rubins though ?
Pretty sweet eh?

Love races when tyre & pit stops can change everything.

I hope it rains for the rest of the season !!!!:D

This is Bullcrap !!!!!

Hamilton clearly gave back the place he gained by using the escape road.
Poor wittle Kimi then totally got an ass whipping as he tried to block Hamilton with a couple of quick 90 degree turns on the wheel.

i am a kimi fan so i could be bias but lewis blew his braking point into bus stop. if lewis had been on track there was no way he could have got the tow he did down the straight and ultimately the pass. did lewis give the spot back? yes but he gain a clear advantage by it.

I see your point...However, in the three miliseconds of braking that Lewis made on that turn, he was on the outside, and almost level with Kimi.
I honestly don't think Kimi was expecting him to try until after the turn.
Kimi seemed to follow what would be, the usual path for that turn...and in my opinion, was amazed to find Lewis almost wheel to wheel with him.

And that wasn't really so much of a tow on the straight...I still think it was more a case of Kimi actually getting flustered, and Lewis having the amazing ability to move around his blocking swerves.

I also think that the penalty is severly harsh, given that KR did not lose the race as a result of this alleged infraction.

Would we have seen such a stewards ruling if the same thing happened on turn one, between a Toro Rosso and a Honda ??

I wont mention Monza...just in case you have it taped and haven't watched yet.
However...what a great season for the spectator...I can't wait for the Singapore night race !!!!!:)

This one is on SPEED network right? I remember last season there were a couple that they didn't carry, or had on delay.

Watching the feed coming into us now, lights are very impressive, about 5 cars have 360'd on the last corner so that looks like one to watch Hamilton fastest in practice, slightly ahead of his team mate

Heikki has got to start pulling his weight. As long as the entire F1 organization is going to be screwing us over at every opportunity, we are going to need a hell of a season out of our #2 to get us the constructor's championship.

I'm going to say yes, just because it's the only channel I've seen F1 on, except for Fox and those have been on delay and I believe they had been on Speed live as well
