Rimando Fan Club

Good afternoon:
I am a freelance writer working on a story about basketball and soccer development in the USA for a basketball magazine. I formerly coached professional basketball in Europe, so I am relating those experiences as well.
Anyway, I was on the site today because of the Bobby Convey signing; I wanted to get some background info on that to include.
And, I saw the article about the DC Academy and am interested in getting as much detailed information on this as possible; i.e., who funds it, who plays, how are they picked, are they professionals, amateurs, college prospects, pro prospects, etc. Does each MLS team have such a program?
Any help would be very much appreciated. I wish I could offer something, but since I am writing for free, there is little I can offer except sincere gratitude.
Thank you very much. I will try to check back here, but email is easier, if possible:
highfivehoopschool@yahoo.com
If there is a link with information, that would be great, a number to call, and email to address, or the info itself would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Brian McCormick
(I was at UCLA at the same time as Rimando, hence the name).
