Hey man. I know you're very in the know when it comes to Diadora...and I am thinking of getting the Brasil's. Are they pretty true to size and do they stretch out a lot or keep their shape/size well. I hate loose boots and normally wear a 9.5 in Manias. So would I get a 9.5 in the Brasil's as well?

In my experience with them they run a little on the large side I ordered the new Brasils in Black and Yellow from Eurosport and they fit very well on me except int he heel they were very loose back there but it seems like its only the Black and Yellow's that have that problem the Black and White ones fit me better in the heel, it may have to do with the Black and Yellow being from the UK line and having a slightly different fit and being a little bit different of a boot than the mass market US models.

I wear my boots very tight fitting as well but I also have a very unique foot type as well which causes some shoes not to fit me very well in specific areas like the toe box and heel. The Brasil also keeps it's shape very well for the most part and the leather is soft and nice but not too soft that it will rip under too much pressure

I would recomend going down a 1/2 a size from you Manias to wear the Brasil so a 9 may do it for you, good luck and let me know how they work out. I also have tried on the Leggra and the Attiva both are nice boots you may wnat to have a look at and they fit in length the same as the Brasils with the Attiva being just a bit nicer than the Leggra.
