All,

It has been a busy week for myself and im sure others. Also my inet at home has been acting all strange

Anyway - with our viewing party coming up - we all are going to have fun but at the same time i am still trying to find ways to Get the petition signed. Use this thread to post any possible events to get good sigs in - This is a focus of The Borough Boys and I just want to make sure we still know that we still have work to do!!!

Thanks guys - PM me with any ideas you dont want to share in public! The Season is almost starting and its time to really get out there and be known!

COME ON YOU BOYS!!!

First we know the bars we need to go to. I'm hoping you can work something out with your meeting next week.

Go to your local park before or after a game and ask for sigs.

I'm not sure how this effort is going, but this IS IMPORTANT. The petition will be the one physical manifestation to show that we exist, we're serious, and that people are interested in an NYC team.

This is the grunt work, but it will be satisfying when we have thousands of signatures. And look, I think it will be greatly helpful when we get leagues, orgs to contact their membership to get the sigs, that will be a boon. But we are the Borough Boys, and most of us are the Board of the Borough Boys, and we must be the ambassadors for our club. Us getting out there and meeting with the soccer community one by one is very important.

Agreed - I just run short on ideas on how to do so. I was planning to go by some parks i know in queens and brooklyn in the next month where leagues are - perhaps we can do this in teams. Lots of leagues should be starting.

now the the weather is getting nice I think the grunt work has to happen more often - not to take away from everything everyone has done - it has been tremendous.

Ps - that meeting has been moved to next monday - ill keep you all posted

The leagues we talked about. Bars..we all know the names..we just have to start going on weekends. I mean look at me and Nick. We went on a sunday to a small footie pub on Queens Blvd and got 20 sigs between us. And that was for 2 teams who don't have a Huge Irish fan base. Man U , Arsenal, or Liverpool would be twice that
