Updated DC United profile

Hello all. I have recently updated the DC United profile (http://albionroad.com/club-profiles/dc-united.html) on my website. I would appreciate any feedback, suggestions, corrections, etc. The uniforms are still from 2006 but that's the most current they have on the colours-of-football site that I use.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the original emblem.

I do want to start adding old emblems for each team, just not sure of the best way to go about it. I'd like to create it in a way that old emblems can be seen from the team's page but there is also a global library of emblems, kind of a flickr style gallery. I may just start adding the old emblems on team pages in the interim until I find a permanent solution.

I've emailed the Barra Brava webmaster a couple of times about exchanging links but have never heard anything back. If you happen to be out there, send me a PM.

I have it on a polo shirt I was given that first year by a friend who worked for the team.

I was on a flight back from the MLS Cup that was played in Dallas when I heard someone say, "That's an old shirt."

It was Kevin Payne. The shirt introduced us.

never an official DC United emblem, one of the first suggested emblems, by Kevin Payne if I recall correctly, but they went with the three-balled one shown above instead.
And then some people whined that it looked too threatening (duh, that's the idea), so they calmed it down some with the newer one-balled emblem - thankfully they did not go to the suggested very cartoonish (child-friendly) version.

Americans SC, your years are off, they did not switch mid-season, either the first one should be 1996-1997 (I think) or the second one should be 1999-present.

OK, this article from the WTimes said the new logo was revealed Nov 97 so it was used starting in 1998. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_hb5244/is_199711/ai_n19753565

That is what I had in mind initially, but I typed 1998 instead of 1997 in the original logo, then when I saw Kim's posted link, I left the 1998.
