Roger Dorn has apparently bought the team and is loosing his ass so there are sponsor signs going up all over the place. What wall space that is available is so small that you would need a magnifying glass to read it. So I am recommending to everyone is making your own custom flags or 2 pole banners. i have a couple that are in the works now but the more the merrier.
Btw a great place to watch imo some the best fans in world is http://www.youtube.com/user/uradou

The amount of banner space available for the Cauldron this year has less (read: nothing) to do with sponsor signage and everything to do with stadium layout and the details of the lease. Below I've attached a photo from a few days ago of the Cauldron section. Highlighted in beautiful cobalt blue are the largest current areas suggested for Cauldron signage.
The slanted wall is roughly 60' long, and the wall in front of the bleachers is roughly 25-30'.
Contractually, we can't cover up any of the large T-Bones sponsorship signage (such as the large CommunityAmerica CU sign on the wall in front of the bleachers, or the signs on the outfield wall). And I'll personally put my boot up the ass of any person who suggests covering up Buck O'Neil's name.
I believe you'll also be able to put banners on the short wall in front of the Cauldron (I'm double-checking on this), but those will be obstructed by field boards.

The bad thing about that long wall is that it slants away from the field, meaning that no one will really be able to see anything that we put there.

Thanks for the reply Chad but with sponsor boards being there and the little wall barely being 3ft nothing we put there would be seen.

OK, Spoon banners are awesome but can't we just file this one under "the crap we ALL have to put up with in our temporary home"???
Do you think the team would love to have all the space in the world for fans to hang banners and create a cool indimidation factor? Hell yeah they would, or if they wouldn't they are idiots. Let's make the best out of a bad situation.
But Chad, Sam, et al, you guys should do your best to get us what we can. I think that makes a fair partnership.

I think that's why he recommended that people do flags instead, due to the lack of space.
My "The Groin" flag will be back. I have one of the checkered flags, but have unable to come up with anything good to put on it yet.

And that's the thing, it's not like the Cauldron won't have space for banners. They will. Without measuring the section at Arrowhead I can't know for sure, but I'm guessing there's actually more square footage for Cauldron banners at CAB than there were last year at Arrowhead.
Is it ideal space? Not really. But it's still damn good space.
Frankly, if the Cauldron needs a banner out front so that the people watching the game on TV can identify it, then the Cauldron isn't doing their job. Right?
FRYE!

i'd rather see smiling faces :) when i look at the Cauldron than banners anyday!

The front of the party deck has T-Bones sponsorship on it. Cannot be covered up.

So then from where those to guys are on the front railing. How high up is that and how far to the corner is it from there?

I don't know the height but I can extrapolate out based on the known measurements of the wall in front of the Cauldron. I'll get you all those numbers later here today when I have some time to sit down and look at the scale drawings of the field layout.

Well my friend I started last night on this new banner and I hope that the length is over 35 ft long. Cuss the beast is 25 ft long right now and I am still missing the n and holle! I hope there is no sponsor boards in the corner as well but if there is I will make is work somehow.
