I think we should be alright with that. Most teams have played...BUT, I will add the R.

Anyone but Fiorentina. I think they are the only team that can beat us. Even when they are playing like crap (like yesterday) they manage to get results.

Zenit St. Petersburg: have been difficult to beat at home this season but they lack experience in European competition at this stage and should be no match.

Leverkusen: We're very familiar with them and their "gung ho" style is easily exploitable. It would be a hard fought match though. Skibbe has assembled a very good team

PSV: Not the team it used to be but has quite a few young talents that could trouble us.

Getafe: I have no doubt that we'll concede goals against them but their defense can be a mess and with our attack we should easily outscore them.

PSV and Fiorentina seem like the best teams

PSV is no where near the team it was 2-3 yrs ago and Fiorentina looks dangerous but then struggles like against Everton

We'll ****ing destroy them. The only reason Rangers beat Bremen was of a lot of luck as well as Weise being absolutely terrible on the first leg, GIFTING the 2 goals. Kahn is too experience to gift anyone goals, so we are set. I have absolutely no worry on playing them, at all. :cool:

Personally I'd like to see Zenit. Russian football is on the rise, although they still have a long ways to go. It would also make for an interesting trip for the supporters.

we have to HANDSOMELY WIN the quarters and the semis during the 1st leg at home..playing the 2nd leg away is always dangerous!..uli and ottmar wont be too pleased with the fact that we're at home 1st up both times..

Good News:
Bayern has drawn none of the 'other' favorites for the next two rounds.

Bad News:
Bayern has drawn all the darkhorses for the next two rounds.


This will be a test, but at least all the "other" favorites are going to have to beat each other up to get to the final. Bayern will have their work cut out, especially at home where they can ill afford to slip up. Guaranteed that all these teams will come in playing a 4-5-1 and playing 10 behind the ball.

This will be no easy feat. The two teams I was hoping to avoid was Fiorentina (hot right now) and perhaps Zenit (another team on a run). PSV naturally is always good and no one can predict what Rangers will do next. Leverkusen is a team gaining massive momentum, so the tie with Zenit will be an interesting one. Getafe is likely a good draw as we tend to struggle against Portugese teams.

You got that right. Underestimate Getafe and you'll find yourselves humiliated.

Don't be like many of my fellow BVB fans underestimating Jena.....


I think Hitzfeld will prepare Bayern properly and they will get the job done.

However, any amount of underestimation.......

Getafe is a difficult team, they know from their league
how to play against great sides and will give you a hard
fight.

I don´t think any team remaining in the cup gets underestimated.
In this phase of the season concentration and day-form
(especially of key players) decide if you can progress in cups or not.
