I would say
1. C. ronaldo on the right
2. Messi on the left
3. Ronaldinho
Those would be a list of three that i would like if anything.

Messi is the only one that fits the U23 and not in the prem requirement. and I meant to say not including Messi because that was pretty obvious.
I'm sure there are a lot of players other than Messi that I just can't think off the top of my head, but it's hard to complete the list because PL is really the home of wide players. Even Messi isn't really a prototypical wide player as he has a tendency to cut inside.
Other leagues such as La Liga and Serie A tend to run plays more through the middle.

I am looking for people's top 5 lists of wide attacking players left or right that can play as the wide midfielder in a 4-4-2 or as the attacking wide players in a 4-3-3. Not neccessarily people who can play both, but either. Also all the players have to be currently 23 years old or younger, and cannot play in the English Premier League?
Please indicate which is the players preferred foot.
bump. any new thoughts on players that have emerged over the past season?
and can we just assume that Messi is everyone's #1 and make the list from there

Not yet top 5 material, but Sebastian Giovinco definitely has the potential.
