3:0-Sieg gegen Fürth

Mit einem 3:0 schickte Borussia den Aufstiegs-Konkurrenten Greuther Fürth nach Hause. Zwei Tore erzielte dabei Mittelfeld-Youngster Marko Marin. Auch Nationalstürmer Oliver Neuville traf.

I dont get it,whats with the WEAK-ATTENDANCE numbers?? is it the new generation( too much "HIP HOP" and "cheeeZeeee american reality" shows??)..and they lack the right kind of love and passion towards gladbach or??? this is really scary!:mad:

I cant believe this season is coming to an end (almost) so fast..and we managed to secure a spot in style for the top flight ( who knows even win the best 2.liga ever),it would be my dream to be at VFL 1900's opening game next season ...if i can come up with the cash this trip is long over-due and should be done:rolleyes:

Well, 37,000 isn't really bad for a 2nd league game (although we have had 50,000 against St.Pauli a few weeks before) ... but as this was a top match for promotion, I expected at least around 40,000-43,000!

2nd league games with early kick-offs on Friday & Sunday or an unfavourable kick-off time on Monday evening aren't easy to attend for Borussia fans, since half of them have to travel from far away (all over Germany) to Borussia-Park.

Here's another version of the emotional moment when the Nordkurve called for Jos und started the Humba with him & Alex Voigt (who got a nice "happy birthday" song from the whole stadium before the game started).

I've seen the whole scene with 2 Gladbach friends in the "Südkurve" ... and almost couldn't believe it! :eek:;)

I was also impressed with the support of the "Nordkurve" during the whole game, it was probably the best of the season so far (there was also the "Laola" wave for 10 minutes of the 2nd half in the stadium)! I think that those who didn't attend the game, missed a great duel of 2 good sides (it could have easily been a 6:6 or 7:6 final result)...


PS: Gohouri & Touma got injured and had to be replaced early. Thomas Kleine came in for Steve after just 4 minutes and had a very good game against his former team!

That's a good idea ... but I fear it won't be easy to get a ticket for that game.

Borussia 3-0 Fürth

Borussia saw off promotion rivals Greuther Fürth 3-0 thanks to a brace from midfield youngster Marko Marin. Germany striker Oliver Neuville was also on target.
