Uwe thnx for both VIDEO-CLIPS...Touma is always so shy and quiet..perhaps he likes to do his talking on the pitch:)

As i have said b4 Marin reminds of Peierre Littbarski.......specially how he moves in tight spaces:rolleyes:

Why? You want to download Gladbach scenes?

Sorry for using the wrong expression. I meant a "match summary clip"...:o;)

This Hoffenheim outfit..is wasting their own time and everybody elses..yes they are playing good..but even if they make it to the bundesliga...they are not bundesliga material...and will nose dive back again!

Dont get worked up my friend..sorry to have hurt your feelings, that was not my intentions..this is a public forum and everybody can post their comments and thoughts!

Sad to say i have followed quite a bit about this so called hoffenheim...and i still stand firm on my ground...in any event time will tell and you will see the YO-YO effect teams like hoffenheim have to deal with /suffer from back and forth btwn 2.liga or 3.liga and whatnot....i wish them all the best tho!

PS:at best(which i really doubt it) it reminds me of the poor unlucky "WALDHOF MANNHEIM" back in the day ,a great team at a certain time frame..but we all know what happened there.( if of course your old enough to remember:D)

greetz!

On the other hand, there's Bayer Leverkusen, who similarly came out of nowhere to make the 1 Bundesliga .... and never left. They are a fixture, even though they still have one of the smallest stadiums in the league. Of course, Bayer money didn't hurt and neither did the fact that they already were well known in German sport for their baskeball and track and field teams. Of course I do remember "Chio" Waldhof. The father of my best friend growing up was from Mannheim (I grew up in a German neighborhood out side Philly) and so we followed them as best we could, never dreaming that they would make the Bundesliga some day. I saw them play in 1978 vs Karlsruhe (another "elevator" team) in the 2 BL Sud.

I respect the fact that you are a great fan of Borussia Mönchengladbach, but I just don't buy that you have "followed quite a bit about this so called hoffenheim".

The only thread you have ever posted is this thread, which is fine, but your lack of participation elsewhere tends me to make me think that your above post about Hoffenheim was just your attempt to find a spot on the already-very-full Anti-Hoffenheim bandwagon.

And you still haven't answered my question - How many games have you watched of Hoffenheim play this season. Perhaps you at least saw highlights of their game on Feb. 10? :D
And if you want to stroll over to the Hoffenheim thread, http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=260222&page=8
you could share with us about how Hoffenheim reminds you of Waldhof Mannheim? I am curious to hear your insights because teams flying to close to the sun Icarus like is a problem in soccer.

My dear Friend

In all honesty(maybe uwe can clear this) the only place i post is here..and i did not even have a "CLUE" there was an ANTI-HOFFENHEIM thread on this website..i dont even read the german bundesliga section of this website,am 41 years old and just fur fun and support i decided to join the gladbach thread on this website..no time to get involved with posting elswhere nor do i need to,id rather leave the internet posting fever to others.I have covered some in depth details about this team, history and people behhind it (and over 20 match highlights, due to the fact that they are chasing us)..and the only thing that stands out is that they have Loads of money and a rich sponsor and they are trying hard(or investor..whatever you want to call it)to flash it around and make the best of it...and it is a great factor and might get them some status..but they lack the tradition/roots foundation to maintain a certain standard, and thats something u cant buy with money ..even OLYMPIQUE MARSEILLES that fought all the way to a EURO-TITLE and all its money(rich owner) faded away...regardless i dont know your name, but not everybody here has time to post/read all forums and get invovled in ANTI-POST i dont hate hoffenheim(no need for it) .It was an observation! About Waldhof also i can add hoffenheim would be "MORE" than lucky to even have such an impact for 6-7 seasons in the top -flight... actually very sad waldhoff sank to the bottom of darkness..they where a blue-collar team and KLAUS SHLAPPNER really wore his heart on his sleeves for that team and looked after it like his very own "Child"!

Very true about HOFFENHEIM,but in all honesty i never thought people would even come to our side and get so excited,it was just a simple opinion..but your right and am not very familiar with these forums and how some people get too crazy about ti!
Anyway..i really hope we can open up the game on monday and put on display a high-octane game...am still waiting to see Roberto on all cylinders and what he can provide for us,also perhaps we shall see more action from Touma, perhaps even a GOAL!!!!

Is there any way to know how much Friend is making? If not, anyone have a guess of how much the contract is worth?
