Btw: Marko Marin was the best player on the pitch once again (as it was the case in Augsburg).
Here's Oliver Neuville's equalizer (what a pass from Coulibaly):

Will since you insisted ..here goes, this game was one of those games(IMO) that we needed to show our strength and why we can dominate..i guess a draw is always better than a lose...but am kindda disappointed with the result!
Am still not convinced we have the depth to have a major impact on a consistent level, which is what's needed to qualify this season..and later on survive in the bundesliga..and just not on the bottom half of the table:confused:!

C'mon, it was an away DERBY against a top motivated Aachen team (which had defeated Cologne at Tivoli)! We totally dominated them after the interval and created a few top chances, so the equalizer was absolutely deserved!
I'm contented with this point (although a derby win is always sweet:-). Important is that we get 3 points against Koblenz in our next home game!
i'm still not convinced we have the depth to have a major impact on a consistent level, which is what's needed to qualify this season..
Are you serious? We're leading the table since matchday 8 and still have 6 points advantage to spot 4 in the strongest 2nd league season of all times! What did you expect? That we win every game 4:0 with a totally new-formed team?
C'mon Naz, please be realistic...
and later on survive in the bundesliga..and just not on the bottom half of the table:confused:!
We already have a team with certain qualities ... and surely are going to invest a few of the € 18 millions (we earned after last season) in 4-5 new players in the case of getting promoted!
All we need is patience & a good plan in order to build up a team with future ... otherwise we'll do the same mistakes of the last years and suffer the fate of last season soon!

I am patient uwe,it just seems we cant seperate in style...and that has been a huge issue and plague in the past 15 years or so...am quite happy with our position in the table...but i can never picture a mediocre standard for gladbach...at some point you like to see that massive seperation from the rest of the flock ..the kind that solid and strong teams display, and you are right..i hope the foundation is set proper..and we can add some solid players(as i said b4 players that are called ONE-MAN-SHOW..and are enough to change the result single handedly) a win in this DERBY would be a huge statement...and you mention we dominated right?? that has been another problem with us...and also a problem back in the bundesliga,we just cant wrap it up..all in all i never really complain cause i am too much of a die hard GLADBACH fan to look in any other direction...but i also like to see that massive obvious changing point..we have been back and forth between good and not so good and just decent for many many years(i also dont want to open this can of worms of getting kicked back in the 2nd liga for a second time around..just un-acceptable for a team of gladbachs calibre)..its really time to somehow move on to the next level..but hey u also need some luck and many other factors...that nowdays dont come around easy at all!
I also hope we dont lose any key-players next year..or even in the next 4-5 years..am sick and tired of selling all our quality players..believe it or not..back in the day when we sold LOTHAR to FC Hollywood..everything went down-hill from that point forward

i can never picture a mediocre standard for gladbach...
Unfortunately it's reality, so you have to get familiar with it. We made so many terrible mistakes since 1996, so it won't be possible to make them up within 1-2 years!
How I told you before, we need PATIENCE now. I'm realistic ... but also pretty confident, since Luhukay & Ziege are doing a good job in my eyes!
Let's make the first step (promotion), then we'll have new possibilities with our sponsors, stadium & huge fanbase. Don't forget that many so-called "experts" didn't see us among the top 3 at the start of this season...

Well I hope Rob Friend has thawed out from his excellent Estonian adventure. Here's to Rob getting 2 or 3 on the weekend (he had 2 in the first round's 5-0 win over Koblenz).

Canadian corrupt system and inside politics..is killing this country...why on earth a german - liga TOP GUN should only play one half??? its sad but oh well its canada..just like how they support/pay their olympian athletes which is a joke compared to other countries...oh well am not surpirsed at least:cool:!
Their cheezee TSN and fox-sports hasent even mentioned Robs name so far not even for 30 seconds....but hey they cover the full 90 min sub-standard british 2.league and 3rd division games..all weekend...well we are owned by the brits..we even have the queens picture on our money..which is another joke!

"Total concentration"
On Sunday Borussia play host to TuS Koblenz, the second best team since the season resumed after the winter break, at the BORUSSIA PARK. "A game that demands total concentration", said coach Jos Luhukay at today's press conference.

Koblenz isn't easy to play ... but all that counts for Sunday, are 3 points! Then we can travel relaxed and with confidence to Cologne for the BIG DERBY...
PS: Glad to hear that Colautti is finally back in the team! Let's hope that his injury hex is definitely over now...

Ya i saw earlier this morning that ROBERTO might play..am still very excited and curious what kindda edge he might give us...he just might be the missing link to take our game to the enxt level..also with touma getting more playing time ...the combination might add a whole different dimension to our options on the field:rolleyes:

No convincing performance against a with 11 men defending team, but we got the important win in the end (thanks to Marko Marin and that generous Koblenz defender:-)! Now we can travel relaxed to Cologne for the Derby...

Last Minute-Sieg gegen Koblenz

but as usual seems like we cant fully dominate..
Somehow, we always get huge problems against teams who come to Borussia-Park just for defending with 11 players. Then we're often forced to play long balls to Rob Friend (especially as Rösler isn't a real playmaker)...
I.e. , St. Pauli wanted to play football as well ... so that was a totally different game with many chances.
Yesterday, we were pretty lucky to get the late win and played much worse than we did in Aachen ... but if you manage to win such "dirty" games, you often get promoted in the end! ;)
What I didn't understand is the fact that Luhukay brought Touma for Marin instead for Ndjeng (who's playing awfully since the winter break). Only after the fans started whistling, he replaced him by Marin who was superb lately and decided this match by a great cross which led to the last-minute own goal.

Last-gasp win over Koblenz
Borussia Mönchengladbach and TuS Koblenz went 90 minutes without scoring at the BORUSSIA PARK. But when the goal finally came, it was a Koblenz player who provided it for Borussia.
