I don't think that we're really interested in him. Seems to be just a story from the British media...
Wow, another Gladbach fan from Germany!
Herzlich Willkommen, Fritz!

Yes Borussia Park is every time a good travel, but in the training camp you can be near to the payers. I also be nice to talk private with the players.
@ HANS-GUNTER BRUNS
Yes I hope to see Borussia in the Europe-cup again too.;) But the second devision year was expensive and I think the only way to the Europe Cup for the next 2-3 year is the national Cup, or Ziege have a lucky hand by the new players.

In other news, 19-year-old AIS-based Young Socceroo Peter Cvetanovski begins training on July 1 with his new German club Borussia Moenchengladbach.

I'm pretty sure that there will be also many BMG fans from Germany booking the trip to Colorado.

Steve Gohouri (knee injury) and probably Rob Friend will have to be replaced for Sunday against 1860 Munich ... what means that Roberto Colautti might be starting for the 1st time this season. After his 2 goals in Jena, I'm pretty confident he'll score his first home goal(s) now! :)

Fragezeichen hinter Rob Friend
Jos Luhukay verteilte bei der Pressekonferenz heute (Freitag) Mittag Komplimente: an 1860 München und an die VfL-Fans.

We were the clearly better team in the first half (many good scoring opportunities) and deservedly scored the 1:0... but suddenly go with a 1:2 lag into the break.
Now I'm very curious how our guys will react...

This was a home game that we should have had under control....but we end up with a draw! our team still has the YO-YO effect "DISEASE"controlling it ....this has happened too many times..i guess its just how we are!

Well, they saved at least 1 point thanks to Oli's pk. I'm content with the draw, although we missed a big opportunity to make a huge step towards promotion. Hence, we'll need max. 4-6 points out of the last 4 games ... what should be absolutely possible!
We had a great start and played a good 1st half, unfortunately 2 big mistakes turned the deserved 1:0 into a shocking 1:2 lag at half time. After the interval, we scored the early equalizer with a pk, but then couldn't reach the level of the first 45 minutes (we got worse & 1860 stronger from minute to minute). In the end, both teams had the chances to score the winner...
Here's some post-match reports with stats, interviews and the press conference:

2:2 gegen die Münchner Löwen
Nach einer frühen Führung durch Oliver Neuville geriet Borussia vor der Pause 1:2 in Rückstand. Zwar glich Neuville mit einem Elfmeter aus, mehr sollte den Borussen aber nicht mehr gelingen.

You are right, they start relaxing too often after a lead...
Nevertheless, the 1:2 half time result was very unfortunate!

Borussia 2-2 Munich 1860
After taking an early lead through Oliver Neuville, Borussia found themselves 2-1 down at the break. Neuville then equalised from the penalty spot, but that was to be the end of the scoring.

Well it was great to see "Ewald Lienen" along with the rest of the legends..kindda nostalgic to remember our past and compare it to our situation now..oh well !
We played better football clearly but next season in the bundesliga we cant simply afford not to score on so many opportunities,in the course of a game only a few chances present themselves and if you cant capitalize on them...you will remain in mid-table at best:rolleyes:
Superb vibe and atmosphere at BORUSSIA PARK tho!
BTW whats up with this rowel browers guy?? his slow and dangerous on 1-on-1 battles...specially in the penalty area you always feel like his going to hand over a penalty kick due to his lack of speed which forces him to get physical..is he our best player in that area??? if so god help us!
