It seems that Eugen Polanski will move to Spain (CF Getafe).

Mach's gut, Eugen! Hopefully he'll get back his shape & confidence of former times as soon as possible.

Not sure what happened with polanski this season,he clearly showed interest in staying with gladbach and not leaving the club just because we got relegated to the 2.liga.....then u sense his getting less play-time and also he shows no interest to play in gladbach...is he having a falling apart with our coach..or???i am not happy with him moving!

It seems so. Pauuwe is cleary the Nr. 1 on this position, but I thought that Polanski would be his back-up at least. Unfortunately it seems that it's not the case, since we are close to signing a young Austrian national player as replacement...

i am not happy with him moving!

Me neither, since he was one of our greatest talents in the younger past. But maybe it's the best decision for him to move abroad and have a comeback ... instead of wasting his time on our bench or main stand.

Getafe would be a really good choice for him, I think. Good luck, Eugen!

Lol, just saw the highlights of the Jena match and that they returned from the locker room after 5 minutes for the 2nd half. :D

Luhukay seems like a good coach.

HUGE news for me--Gladbach will be training in the USA this summer in July (in Denver) and WILL play vs MLS teams. See the web site. Since I live in an MLS city I am really hoping for them to come here to Columbus. It would be a dream come true for me..... Here's hoping.....

Will be interesting to see who they play, as some teams have regular season matches and others do not. Of course Superliga is happening at the same time as well.

Here is the Article in German: http://www.dfl.de/de/meldung.php

You have to thank me :-) ... since I made this suggestion to Mr. Schippers & Christian Ziege. ;)

I hope that Christian & Siggi can organize a friendly in Columbus.

I was about to bring up Gladbach's trip to the US, but it looks like it's already been mentioned. I'm loving this, although I live nowhere near Denver seeing how I'm on the east coast. Hopefully DCU is one of the teams they play.

I've seen him during the U21 match "Israel vs Germany" and he really impressed me!

If I was Christian Ziege (Borussia's club manager), I'd sign him! ;)

But firstly let's hope that Roberto Colautti finally gets top fit (he was injured for almost the whole season)!

Have a nice day.

:D Borussia are scouting him. By Biram Kial has Borussia contact the Player Agent. ;)

It's a club record profit, despite the relegation.

The other Rumors at the German boards

Jürgen Säumel (http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/spieler/3066/saeumeljuergen/profil.html) was invited to visit the Borussia Park and for a talk on a possible move. Säumel is member of the Austrian national team and Capitan of Sturm Graz. He is a midfielder and can fill out various positions both in the defense and offense.

In other transfer news, AIS fullback Peter Cvetanovski, who had a brief spell with Newcastle Jets last season, has agreed a two-year deal with German second-tier side Borussia Moenchengladbach. But I don't found anythings about that by German Newspaper or by Borussia.

MOENCHENGLADBACH, Germany — Borussia Moenchengladbach will play exhibition games against the Rapids and FC Dallas in July during a 10-day preseason training camp in the United States.

Drat. I was hoping to see them play, but likely my best bet will be to save my money for another trip to Borussia Park rather than try to fly out to Colorado or Dallas. It probably would not cost that much more to fly to Germany (the US is *big*). Perhaps some one will persuade them to add a 3rd game....

6.8 Million euros is not going to help us( better than nothing but..even a dollar is better than nothing)..specially in nowdays market and what contracts fly for,i hope our squad can hold his own in the bundesliga and break-thru the euro-stage. Europe is going to generate the kind of revenue we need.....GLADBACHs name is long over-due to appear on score-boards across europe...and i would love to see that day again:D
