We know what werder are able to do at home in CL (and europe). I think of Chelsea especially. I can only hope to see a confident, motivated team that plays calm intelligently. We'll see... I almost feel like we'll lose again after the last games.

Me, too, but sometimes teams step up after a huge defeat.
Thatīs my hope for tomorrow. Cīmon Werder.

Good luck for tonight! It's gonna be tough against this strong Rangers defence ... but who knows, maybe your guys will show a "Trotzreaktion" (act of defiance?) and recall some great European home games of the past. ;)

And the fact that St.Petersburg & Everton managed to make up 2 goal lags after 90 minutes, should give you some confidence as well.
You are strong at Weserstadion and surely capable of scoring goals, so all depends on how your weak defence will cope with the 3:6 disaster from Stuttgart. I don't think you'll manage to score more than 2 or 3 goals against this Rangers defence, thus it's important to keep a clean sheet!
Frank Baumann will be out for this game, at least Sanogo got fit on time.

A team will just take so much punishment before they batter down and start fighting and given their attacking skills..They got a fair chance.

Man, this is the same sh*t like in the last matches.
The offense suck in using chances, Almeida and Borowski had 100% chances.
Furthermore the team had bad luck with a not given penalty
after a clear bodycheck against Almeida.
But the referee, who slept for half an hour, is not to blame here,
itīs us. Man, Schaaf kick Almeida and Borowski in the a** for wasting chances.
Same sh`*t as always.
I see us loosing the game, we created chances, but the offense suck
in using chances. The German commentator Poschmann at ZDF,
who is allowed to comment football, he canīt even spell
the players name correct (9 times Rosendaahl, his name is Rosenberg),*
said chances are 7-1 for Bremen, i saw 2-0 or 3-0 from big chances.
Man, we must use them.
Sorry for beeing aggresive, but that sh*t nerves me, the teams played good,
but forgot as in the last matches the most important thing in football,
scoring goals. And when you donīt use them, the other team will create
a simple chance, score and the match change, thatīs football.
(man, football is so underserved, but thatīs why i love it)
*Sorry, for beeing so angry on you, itīs more about us.
But to be honest, as a former professional athletic,
who should comment athletics, but no football,
you have (not only today) absolute no clue about football.
Stay at athletics, there you are an expert.

A Bremen that canīt score...this is a bit odd eh?
Their tactics and defence have often been critisized but their scoring ability...

How the have they not scored!!!
--Werder Bremen--------------------Rangers--
--16(8)---------Shots (on Goal)---------3(3)--
--9---------------Corner Kicks -------------0--
C'mon, guys...seal the deal.
Hopefully if Bremen produce another 8 shots on goal, 2 or 3 should go in!

Dude I feel your pain.
Can we get some goals here seriously? It's so frustrating to see so many chances wasted one after the other...

Bremen has clearly been the better side, but you have to assume that the players will tire soon with the effort that they have put in. The longer this game stays 0-0, with Bremen pushing forward, the more gaps will be left at the back...and we all know how dangerous Rangers are on the counter attack.

and we all know how dangerous Rangers are on the counter attack.
We do?..I assumed that both Rangers and Celtic relied on taking the game forward as most scottish teams are unlikely to be that attacking against them.

Diego 1-0. About time with all those chances. Should have been 3-0 by now at least.

True, but in Europe, Rangers play with a 4-5-1 and rely heavily on soaking up the pressure, and breaking on the counter...a'la the 2-0 over Werder last week, the away win vs Panathanaikos, and the 3-0 thumping they gave Lyon in france.
Edit: 1-0, doh!
