Well since there isn't one and DF is probably struggling for sleep at the moment, I thought I'd make a thread for this game.

The Toni Kroos show, in other words.

My girlfriend just called me and said the Belgian fans have still shown up in force.

That means she probably saw about 10 or 15 in town! Maybe they want to see "The Kroos Show" too! LOL!!

The girlfriend works in the center of Munich and we're going to go to the match anyhow. I mostly want to get a live look at Breno.

Well this is nice; the first 2 posters in this thread are 2 non-bayern ones.

The belgians might not be able to make it back to their hotels after the stars they're gonna have in their eyes! ;)

Breno should be interesting too...

I doubt I can wake up early enough to watch this game though...what time is it in german time anyway?

Here's another non-Bayern poster:D

I wouldn't expect much. No way to make the game quick with a bored van Bommel and, well, Ottl in central midfield...maybe Kroos and Lahm can do something together.

go bayern, stupid time conversion, the games are always starting either 230 or 3:00 here, which means at best I get to watch the first half before I go to work :(

P.S. and it looks like GOLTV Canada is delaying the game by an hour again  so I cant even watch any now

Probable lineup:

Rensing - Sagnol, Lucio, Breno, Jansen - Sosa, Ottl, van Bommel, Kroos - Podolski, Klose

Still a pretty experienced team apart form the two wonderkids. Poor Schlaudraff.

Not bad. Even giving Wily some time as well AND a good game for Toni to take a day off. I would imagine that if Schlaudraff is on the bench he will be coming on in the 2nd half for one of the forwards.

LOL! Brilliant! I see fatherhood has not changed you one bit... er... except for perhaps the lack of nocturnal rest.

Congrats again mate! That is awesome news.

Seriously. Jan is just not in Ottmar's good graces. This is one issue I likely know nothing about (behind the scenes) but just infuriates me. I would have opted for this....

...............Rensing..................
Sagnol....Lucio...Breno....Jansen
.................Ottl....................
Sosa........................Schlaudraff
.................Kroos....................
...........Klose.......Podolski.........

Potentially switch Poldi and Schlaudraff

EDIT: like FF1, I am very excited to see Breno in action!!! I keep forgetting he is ONLY 18 years young!

Same here DF. I am another "non-Bayen" fan, but a fan of most of the players on the Bayern Team. Go figure!

Another point about this match....

as this match means nothing likely, unless we give up 4 goals in 30 minutes, why not use it to exercise some different tactical decisions, such as playing with 3 forwards for a change or expand upon the diamond midfield we have been using recently or even playing 3 backs?

Just a thought...

(Eissman dialing Ottmar as you read this ;))

We usually only play with 3 backs when Lucio is playing anyway. ;) :p

MENSCH I almost forgot the game was on tonight! Stupid homework and various other nuisances made me shift my focus away from what's important in life, namely FC Bayern games.

Hopefully no one's in the TV room in an hour...

How about we play with 10 midfielders? :p
