What does the "ISL" stand for?
International Soccer League (http://www.internationalsoccerleague.com) - They are one of our Major Sponsors. So much like the Rockford Raptors changed their name to the Chicago Fire NPSL, we incorporated their name into ours.
The ISL is recognized throughout Colorado as the top Hispanic Adult Soccer League in the State. The league has been in existence for over 10 years, and is sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation.
You will notice on my website that we have a set of reserve squads playing in the ISL as an extended tryout/preseason training for the NPSL team. Of course we will be drawing players from other ISL teams that we match up against and other sources as well.

See thread on this, but the Predators are pulling out of the NPSL, according to my source, who speaks/works with the Predators owners directly.

That is almost correct. I had just finished updating my site with the news and was planning to make a formal announcement (as I too work with the owners directly)
That being said, the team is not dead or completely pulling out of the NPSL at this time. They are merely on hiatus for this season for some of the reasons which were included in your other thread http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=690595

Colorado ISL Predators on Hiatus for 2008 NPSL Season
It is with deep regret that the Colorado ISL Predators, for circumstances beyond our control, will join both Indios USA and the Sacramento Knights in exercising a one year outdoor hiatus beginning this 2008 NPSL Season.
Although the Predators will not play this season, they will be featured in several friendlies and tournaments in Colorado, Florida, Canada and Mexico which will be announced on the web site shortly.
We would like to apologize to our fans, and hope that you will be there to support the Predators when we return in 2009.
