So now we have 4 EPL teams in the 1/4 finals of the champions league... (first time that one country has done this )...of course everyone knows that the EPL is full of foreigners....except it ain't....so....assuming Capello can keep his dick in his pants, his umbrella in the house and the team SERIOUSLY practice penalties, maybe there is hope yet...

back four: Brown, Ferdinand, Terry, Cole (A)

Midfield: SWP, Carrick, Hargreaves, Cole (J)

with Rooney as "lone striker" and Gerrard "in the hole"

subs: Carragher (talk him into coming back) Bridge,Lampard,Pennant,Crouch,Scholes (see Carragher)

which leaves the new "problem position" at goalkeeper....well...Ben Foster is back in training and fit at Manchester United....so, in my "All Champions league 1/4 finalists for England" he gets the nod...good enough to be ALL from the BEST league in Europe (who's gonna argue ?? the Italians ??...the Spanish ??....give me a break.....

4 out of 8... 50%.... No arguments here..:D

The only thing I would add is forget Carragher. If he would have bided his time, just a bit longer, he would have featured as the starter at cb during qualifying for the Euro's instead of Lescott. He left the team, because he wasn't being featured in the starting 11.

But this side features ONLY players left in the last 8 of the champions league....Lescott does'nt qualify...Carragher does (even if, like Scholes) he's not CURRENTLY interested.

Yeah, I know. It just left a sour taste in my mouth..( Carragher leaving ). I wasn't saying play Lescott in his place.

Yeah, almost forget about Walcott. Who else are we leaving out? A semi-injured Gary Neville..?
