Sorry for not keeping up with this, but for those of you who know, I was and still am a little indisposed at the moment.
Let's keep this to official Bayern news.
Remember, we do have a tactics and a transfer thread as well. :)

Althought the EC players canīt participate,
world cup winners/finalists like Kahn (big star in Asia),
Ze Roberto, Lucio and other known players like Demichelis
will bring some people to the matches:
- NT Indonesia (Jakarta, Indonesia)
- Chinese olympic team (Guangzhou, China)
- Mohan Bagun (Kolkata, India)
Kicker has an article about it: Kahnīs last match in Kalkutta (http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/startseite/artikel/376135/) (good-bye match not counted)
Represent the BL well and donīt do a Cottbus (1-1 in China against their U23). ;)

news to French clubs by ruling out a return to France.
'I can't see myself playing for a French club again, even for (six-times champions and Ligue 1 leaders Olympique) Lyon,' he said. 'Here (at Bayern), everything is so well organised. You just can't compare.'
We are in Germany; what else do you expect

If he keeps his form up he should undoubtedly be nominated for the Ballon D'Or. But knowing the nature of those awards he'll be snubbed for less deserving players because he doesn't play in the "big 3" leagues, which should be called the "big 2" now really.

If Chelsea come 2nd in the league and get to the semis of the CL, he has not got a CHANCE in hell over Frank Lampard

nice, nice
in terms of organization and just presenting themselves, i think Bayern is probably the best in the world
the club website is also very nice and informative (if a bit corny sometimes), which i cannot say about a lot of other clubs

That Citroen commercial was hilarious.

He has to win the champions league to have a chance IMHO.

I find similarties to last season, maybe he looks for a new club. :p ;)

According to the article he will manage some things,
that currently are done by Hoeness. (You know,
Hoeness plans to give his job as Bayern general manager
to a follower after next season. Propably his job is
too complicated for a new manager, that needs time to adapt:
So i think this is the first step to distribute the work
Hoeness is doing on some managers.)
Nerlingers job will be beeing a connection between the club management
(Hoeness, Rummenigge, ...), the coaching staff (especially Klinsmann) and the team.
I could think of planing test matches, organising these matches,
helping Honess and Klinsmann at transfer talks, communicating with the coach and such stuff.
