Hey everyone, just wanted to let you about some of the things going on related to River over at The Offiside, which was recently named the 35th Most Powerful Blog (http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2008/mar/09/blogs) in the World by the Guardian UK. Not exactly sure what that means, but congrats to them.
I'll be starting an ongoing series dedicated to fans of River Plate around the world. My first article (http://riverplate.theoffside.com/fans/river-around-the-world-israel.html) posted today is about the Israel Filial (http://tierrasantamonumental.wordpress.com/). A while back I had a chance to speak to the filial President who talked about his experience growing up as a fan, and the supporters club he helped form.
In the coming weeks there'll be similar articles, so I hope you'll enjoy them. Also, please check out The Offside Podcast (http://podcast.theoffside.com/), where I've been invited to talk about the Argentine Primera and the Copa Libertadores. Finally, head over to the Argentina World Cup Blog (http://argentina.worldcupblog.org/) which I moderate. There isn't much going on in regards to the NT at the moment, but expect more over the summer once WCQ and international friendlies get under way.
Thanks for visiting,
Christian "Chicago Millonario"
