I'm looking for preferably a 2-in-1 product, but whatever you like, I want to hear it. For a few months now I noticed my right foot often feels painful when I'm not playing, most likely due to the constant stress (either the ankle bone or bones on the top of the foot). A cold pack will probably help and I'd like to carry one around just in case anyway. I see the leagues etc I play with always have one of those packs that you rub and they get cold but I don't seem to be able to find them at the Rite Aid or CVS pharmacies around here. So if you know where to get them, that's another plus.

There are 2 seperate pads you can buy. One that goes hot when you squeeze it, and one that runs cold when you squeeze it. They are single use though.

The best thing for you would be a gel pack that you can either freeze or pop in the microwave to heat. You can get them from most chemists in the UK. Not sure where you'd get them from there though im afraid.

What's the brand name of the single use? I think they'll be convenient for leaving in the bag and not having to freeze them for every game, but the reusables will be good for the chronic pain that I get. The reusables seem to be pretty common but I haven't seen the single use. I should add that I'm on the east coast of the U.S.A.

really, REALLY!!!!!
U clearly weren't there when I realised Id lost the ice packs for my holiday club and had to replace them asap, I spent 2 hours round various Tesco's/sainsburys's, both Boots in town and 3 little independent chemists.....
I found various sites selling them all over the place just by putting "instant ice packs" into google....

I get my ice/heat gel packs from Dick's or Sports Authority.
If you get the coaching package for a sport they have $5 any purchase, so I buy 2 @ 3.49 and pay $2+ after the coupon.
The are about 10" x 5" and good for heat or cold. both of mine are in the freezer. When they break I go get new ones with the coupon
