I would like to know who is the best right back in France? Do your assesment in terms of defending, passing, shooting, attacking ability heading and crossing. Give me the top 10 to 15 by teams!

I would choose Mickaël Chrétien, even though I expect the many OL supporters here to opt for François Clerc.

In my opinion, the top 4:

1. Mickaël Chrétien (Nancy)
2. François Clerc (OL)
3. Onyekachi Apam (Nice)
4. Rod Fanni (Rennes)

After that, it's much more difficult to differentiate among the many right backs, though I think it's not incorrect to say right back isn't the strongest position, in terms of depth, in Ligue 1.

Hard... There's NO really good lateral defender in France. Only good workers. Maybe 2 or 3 technically behind the others.

Clerc (Lyon)
Chalmé (Bordeaux)
Chrétien (Nancy)
Bonnart (Marseille)
Calvé (Le Mans)
Apam (Nice)
Mater (Valenciennes)
Fanni (Rennes)
Beria (Lille)
Demont (Lens)
Ceara (PSG)
Ebondo (Toulouse)

I really couldn't say you who is stronger than the other in this list. All quiet similar.

Oh, and a mention should go to Anthony Réveillère of l'OL who should be in the top 4, but Clerc starts much more often these days.
