The pre-lobbyist-reform retirement of Dugong ex-Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert caused this weeks bellweather vote in the longterm GOP safe Illinois 14th Congressional District.

DuPage-Kendell and points west have been as solid a GOP bastion as Tom Delay could have sighed over. No longer. When a District like this turns it is bad tidings indeed. GOP wannabee Jim Oberweis, the overpriced milk monger and shameless Bushie, has lost almost every office in the State now. Take a hint Jim.

Inexplicably, Foxnews.com doesnt have room for this election story. Congress has just gone one more seat Democratic. The GOP Speaker of the House district has gone Democratic. Not worthy, I suppose as...

March Madness: Good Time for a Vasectomy?

Well, if you want to shoot as poorly as a Northwestern off guard I guess.

Definitely a harbinger of things to come. Depsite all of the current "can't Democrats get along?" talk among the MSM. I think come summertime, as the economy continues to slide and Iraq goes nowhere, there will be a sea-change in Nov.

Did you even bother to look?

Yes, I did. Not only was it not on their front page, where changes in the makeup of Congress go, it wasnt on the front page of the politics subsection. I guess some stories not even Brit Hume can spin to GOPropaganda. Those stories they bury. Come next election Fox is going to have to invent the internet equivalent of agate type.

However, makes the cut. They do know their audience.

They already have. But I won't cry ageism if he loses.

And I didn't mean you in the specific. I meant all y'all

Only because ITN called you on it, I decided to take a look for myself. I went to the MSNBC & CNN sites. From the politics page on each site, the special election is easily found - unlike at the Fox site where the story is buried. Politico has the special election on top of their front page.

Actually, Revolt, I called attention to the FoxNews story to directly dispute HerthaBerwyn's lie; i.e., "Inexplicably, Foxnews.com doesn't have room for this election story." My link proved HerthaBerwyn wrong; I did not say a word about where FoxNews placed story.

OF course, I meant the page one reaches by typing in foxnews.com. You know the page which currently features, in big blue letters

But if youre going to split hairs Im going to piss off.

Leave it to ITN for the idiotic threadjack. This really is an important election for the cycle. Thsi shows just how far the reeps have fallen.
