Threads galore...

Well, as I had some questions about it I might mention that we do expect Bajramovic to leave this summer, Stuttgart probably..

We might see Rafinha leave if a good offer comes but as for Rakitic you guys must wait for next year at least.

Neuer is all the rage right now but we donīt expect him to leave, he got more ties than most to Schalke so we can skip that discussion.

Incoming players?

Well, itīs no secret that we are still looking for a top forward...anyone got someone to spare?

As for Fussballer76's question from the other thread: if you are in Germany, via the Bundesliga homepage, respectively T-Online.

These videos used to be freely accessible to us outside Germany until early this year, now they are limited to users from Germany.

Highlight videos of the most interesting Saturday games are normally available on youtube by Sunday morning, but that's not reliable, for example Schalke - Bielefeld isn't yet there. And it can be a pain to find the highlights in between all these rather nonsensical crowd videos fans put online right after coming back from the stadium...

Another option is looking for highlights at www.fbtz.com, not terribly convenient either.

two questions

1) Is Ze Roberto (the Schalke one) a good player? Would you put him in the starting line up if he werent injured?

2) If everyone was healthy, what would you put as the starting line up?

Ze Roberto...I wouldnīt start him right now, give him a break, it takes months to adjust to a new league.

MY starting 11 right now would look something like this...

Neuer
Westermann, Krstajic, Bordon, Rafinha
Ernst, Jones, Rakitic, Streit
Altintop, Kuranyi

But that might change next week...:D

Excellent. I can't see a reason why you shouldn't be able to beat Barcelona.

Jeez...Our perfect draw is Barca :p

They have already started talking about the semi-finals and have dismissed us, letīs hope the Barca players feel the same way and save their strength to the semis.

Meeting an attacking team is our only hope at this level and Barca is just that...

Barca is in shit form.......

But surely not in the CL! They played superbly at Celtic Park and are the only team to win there (even twice)...

Well, Messi's injury absence should be a boost for Schalke ... but they have enough quality players to replace him!

Since the title race is almost decided in "La Liga", Barca will be crazy to reach the CL final and therefore is the clear favourite against Schalke! However, since in football all is possible ... even outsiders always get a chance of going through (look at Rangers against Bremen)!

I'd rate Schalke's chances 30:70. They will have to play a lot better as they did against Porto if they want to make the surprise...

At Gelsenkirchen i can see you get a good result,
but at Nou Camp it will be very tough.

Unfortunately a "Neuer goal", he's had at least four chipped over his head this season because he comes off his line so frequently and early, I'm not sure myself if this is "modern" or just immature goalkeeping.
