Well, as Twentes official site mentions the deal and just the medicals are left we can say that he´s a Schalker now.

Oh I'm much happier with him at Schalke than I would be with him at Ajax, that goes without saying. I wish him and Schalke the best of luck. You've got to understand though that it's extremely frustrating to be a Twente fan right now. After two years of doing everything right, we're back at square one.
