Small Rocks v Chelski Challenge Cup

I started out 0-4 with my only decent weeks coming in week 1 which did not count and week 5 (matchday 4) - my bye week. Since then I have won 3 straight to pull myself back into contention, beginning with a 1-point squeaker over W Connection FC in week 6 and ending with a 76-38 drubbing of Shoe Suede Blues last week. Unfortunately I still have one bye week remaining while my competition will have 2 weeks to pick up points. I sense more drama to come in Group 2.

What I can't understand is how my team can be leading our Chelski league yet be so terrible in this competition. Bad timing is my only explanation.

W Connection Manager Jonathan Chase spoke exclusively to Planetfootball.com and told us that while he expects to do well in the Uefa Champions League, his teams' first goal is to secure first place in the league, and as such will be resting star striker Thierry Henry for a few European fixtures in order for him to be fresh for League ties where Connection is outside of striking range of the table toppers.
