The return Hodgson....
This time he did not bring Kevin Davies with him...
Blackburn's formation will give Fulham fits . FFC left side is very inconsistent if we push the ball there MGP or Betns will be able to move the ball through very quickly and set a tone for this game, with Roque finishing many chances.
FFC can't find the back of the net. They have the goalless Diomansy Kamara and American Clint Dempsey trying to play is selfish best to score and not pass. Maybe we will get to see the other American striker Eddie Johnson but he also has been unable to open the lid on the gol.
Overall I feel pretty good about our chances. 3 -0 is my final prediction we have had more than skill go our way lately and I see a great team effort.
It is Rovers Time!!!!

The pitch at Ewood looks great. However, there appears to be lots of rain and drizzle. It looks cold too!!

I like what I see.
We have had a bad way with the second pass lately but maybe we are over that.

Johnson taking the dive.
He is way stronger than that to fall with a hand. He should have fought through but wanted the free kick and the red card instead.

Hmm. Looks like Tugay is developing a bit of a bald patch on the back of his skull. Not nice on a miserable day like today.

I must admit that I've got some mixed feelings about this match...I want Rovers to win, of course, but I want my Yanks to show well and, in the long run, do not what Fulham to go down.
Interestingly, two of Blackburn's players, Brad and Ryan, had their first professional development in the US's top league, MLS, as did all five of Fulham's.

True enough. If Fulham goes down it'll look bad on MLS. Plus they've got a Canadian International in addition to their five Americans. But I still would rather see Rovers get the three points today.
