This should be an interesting game. I am greateful that Charlton is not the first league team in Man City's new staduim, the crowd would have been huge.
Here is an article about Man City:

Come on Charlton!
What is the song that is played when the team enters the field at the Valley?

Looks like Man City beat Barcelona 2-1 last week. They do have a UEFA Cup match against Welsh Premiership side Total Network Solutions on thursday. They could be a little fatigued for the match against Charlton.
Article about Man City's stadium:
http://www.uefa.com/competitions/UEFACup/news/Kind=8192/newsId=90183.html
"the roof is designed to reflect sound back into the ground, creating an intimidating wall of noise for visiting teams"
That is not going to be a fun place to play.

Not a good start to the campaing. It seems like the PK turned things around and Charlton could not recover.
Too bad about Fish. Let's hope that he is only out for one game.

Curbishley was not too happy about certain aspects of the game:

I have not had a chance to look at the highlights on the site yet. Anyone know if he is correct?
