After all, it seems Baylón is to be loaned out to his former club, Alianza Lima, at least till June. Here's the news:

I saw him play today with our reserve team (second half) and I must say he's been better than before - though he missed an unmissable chance to score. I gather he's more confortable with a counter-attacking style of play and he fancies having company upfront - the role of a sole striker doesn't suit him well and maybe that is why he's havingtrouble to adapt to our style of play.
I hope (if this story is true) that Baylón may develop a bit further in his former club. If he doesn't improve his game level, it will be difficult for him to reach first team football in our club...

If this is true...damn. Alianza plays with a 4-5-1 (4-2-3-1). He will be the sole striker... Though he has plenty of company in the midfield with Reimond Manco and Jhonnier Monta~o, they both feed really good balls in, especially Manco through the side, really good crosses, but Alianza doesn't have a 9 to put those goals in. Is he good in his aireal game? If so he'll do really good there and evolve alot in that aspect from Manco's crosses. And is he fast? If he is than Monta~o's good passes up from will really use his speed and he'll do excelent there if he finishes well (does he?), the current two "goalscorers" are both quite slow. A prime is example is todays game. Alianza tied 0-0 with Melgar, in there own home, and Manco put very good centers in and Monta~o had some good balls put up front, but the centers were headed wide and the balls passed up front the foward was too slow.... Baylon, please be fast, have good areal game and finish well!!!

Baylón is not a classical striker. He doesn't have good aerial skills, but he is fast and physically strong which makes him dangerous when the opponent's defense gives to much space on its back - that's why I think he is better suited for a counter-attacking style of play.
As to his finishing skills, I think he's got much to improve. He's got a powerful shot but sometimes he lacks precision. He must improve his technical skills as well and if he is to play as a sole striker he must have more of a fighting spirit.
Anyway, I would say his best qualities are his speed and his physical strength. Though they cannot be compared in terms of quality, Baylón reminds me a bit of Ronaldo (AC Milan): no good aerial ability, not much fighting spirit, no great teamwork participation but his runs with the ball are difficult to stop for any defense. Again, Baylón is still young but he needs to improve a lot if he is to become a top player...

Well Peruvian defense is in no way the best so....But what Alianza needs is a goalscorer, someone who can put the ball in when he has a good chance, and with good areal skills for Manco's crosses...Well if he comes i don't think he will do to good then, unless he regains his previous form, from the U-20 tournament in Argentina....

Is it that you only watched the second half or that Baylon entered the game at second half (thus being a reserve of the reserves?)

He's played only during the second half, but there were many first team players in the starting eleven...

Ballon is a defensive mid, and was Peru's best player in the U-17 and probably second best in U-20, Ismodes was the best. He is currently in San Martin:)

This is so cool, we know things before kike giles:eek: lol:p
I'm sure Baylon will do good, and Manco and him know each other so they should make some good plays together and if he is any good at all, which i am sure he is, he will score plenty, because he has Manco to give him assists.
