It all comes crashing down to Earth..
3-1 Chicago...
As Knave is often to point out, this team still is not playing cleanly and that field will be a hinderance on Saturday..
No Bocanegra helps, but they still have some good solid depth on that team..
On a bright note, Earnie Stewart will finally break his duck...

2-1 United. Earnie's hard work finally pays off and Dema says hi to the fire supporters to offset Ralph scoring again.
Whatever the score, I'm thinking it's going to be a wild one. The East is going to be a zoo from here on in.

I hope you're wrong, though I fear you aren't. We probably won't have Petke because he sprained his ankle last night. :(

With Petke likely out will we have to put up with Ivanov's mediocre play? When is Reyes due back? And Q1 -- when's he coming back?

2 - 2
DC ties in stoppage time after an earlier ejection of Zach Thorton for chasing after Esky who had challenged him for a loose ball.
Hudson learns a lesson from Bradley and uses the goalie sub trick to give his winded team all the help possible. He'll say to the press that he didn't want to do it but "the lads needed a break."
Your goal scorers? A deuce for Ante (who points at Bruce Arena in the press box), and Earnie and Dema for the good guys.
FSW will miss showing a goal live.

3-1 Fire.
They have no Boca and we have no bobbito. Therefore they win by the result of the quadratic equation combined with a little of that equation we came up with a few months ago... (bobby + ball)+(etch-ball) + i am rambling= fire wins because i want to be pleasantly surprised if we win.

You understand that if we lose this Saturday, you will have to go back to Montana for the rest of the season, right?

No, until DC gets Adu.
1-1 . No Bocanegra, but Chicago is too deep. Stoichkov has to start and score on a free kick if we are to win.

I hate to say it, but for the next week the Galaxy are our new best friends...they play the Scum Saturday and Chicago next Wednesday.
A DC win in Chicago and and 2 LA wins will have us sitting mighty pretty!

Go Serna! Vamos Ruiz!!
That was tough.
Scott you will be banished to the wilds of Montana FOR-EVER if DC does anything but win this weekend.

I think this is going to be a great game. DC has been playing good lately while the fire have been just average. We have a great team but I feel like they have no heart. The atmosphere should be great with Hristo and Dema returning again. I think the score will be 2-2.
