This should be a good one. I've gone up to Edmonton and Toronto for this the past number of years, always a good show.
USA
Canada
Argentina
Scotland A
Ireland A
England A (Saxons)
I like how England has named their A team too, the only other country I know of that does that is New Zealand Maori, which isn't an A team per se but the aboriginal peoples side.
Kicks off in Ottawa on June 7 USA v England Saxons and Canada v Scotland A
June 11 in Kingston Scotland A v Argentina (good luck Scotland playing the Pumas on 4 days rest) and USA v Ireland A
June 14 in Toronto Ireland A v England Saxons and Argentina v Canada
June 21 in Chicago is a finals format consisting of 3 games with all six sides
This is just the type of tournament that can help the game grow here and in Canada. British Airways is running a contest until if you buy tix early you can win a trip to London and a 6 nations game at Twickenham.
If Argentina shows up with the serious full team they should be able to win this. I just hope this is televised. The final is at Toyota Park. Last year at Toyota Park ESPNu broadcast USA v Munster (Ireland) and it was without a doubt the poorest commentary I've ever seen on broadcast television. But for Gareth Rees doing color (colour for Gareth) it would have been the worst commentary probably on the history of all television. It was awful play by play.
