We're underway. 4 minutes in. Nothing too dangerous either way thus far.

Surprisingly small crowd for Stoke City, given their position in the table. Commentators say Stoke fans are in only the upper deck of the School End and it's only half full even there.

First corner by Stoke wasn't gathered by Camp. Commentators thought he just timed it poorly. Fortunately, he was able to boot it away after missing the catch.

A minute later, Stoke earned their second corner. This time, Camp gathers it well.

Stoke have started a bit brighter. Connolly with an error that nearly cost the R's.

A few seconds later, Stoke came close to scoring. The commentators wondered if it went across the line, but the R's cleared it after it apparently hit the woodwork.

But... as I type this....

LEIGERTWOOD!!! From 30 yards! Wow.

QPR 1-0 Stoke City

UUUURRRRRRs!

2-0! Cross from Buzsaky; Vine was pushed in the box, but he gets it back to Leigertwood who scores his second!!

The R's have been much the better side since the first goal and it pays off.

I'm listening, as usual, on pay-service QPR World.

Epraim with good work; a cross to Agyemang was knocked out for the R's first corner. Comes to nothing.

Mancienne goes in the book for a foul on Cresswell.

R's with a potential handball in the box. It hit Connolly's upper arm, but his arms were pulled in and Stoke didn't get a call. Cresswell then went down theatrically and the R's fans brought the boos.

Leigertwood just had the ball at his feet; many in the crowd shouted "shoot!" :D

Straight red for a studs up tackle by Stoke's Andy Griffin. He may have reached the ball first. Commentators say it shouldn't have been a straight red and they think the ball was won cleanly. Looks like D'Urso may be overreacting to the recent events in the Arsenal game. The commentators say they think it wasn't even a foul as the ball was clealy won.

The R's play a man up the rest of the way.

A minute later, Cresswell was booked.

oooh Griffin for Stoke got a red!

2-0 down and down to ten men.

In my mind to be honest not a red card. But he went in studs up however he was nowhere near dangerous contact.

The R's put them under pressure. Ephraim, Vine, and Agyemang causing trouble for the Potters.

A minute later, Ricardo Fuller hit the post as the woodwork preserves the R's two-goal lead.

Sidibe off; Wilkinson on for Stoke as the second half begins.QPR -- 15th, 35 GP, -7 GD, 42 points

Stoke City -- 2nd, 36 GP, +14 GD, 63 points
I messed up there -- I was looking at QPR World's live table that included a 0-0 draw today, as that was the then-current state of play.

Entering today, it was actually:

QPR -- 16th, 34 GP, -7 GD, 41 points
v.
Stoke City -- 2nd, 35 GP, +14 GD, 62 points

Camp with a nice double save. R's quickly counterattack and Vine took a shot saved by Stoke.
