in light of diabys tackle and red card should we all not recognise that

1.) diaby is traumatized by the event - he meant no harm
2.) steinson was just too quick for him
3.) he doesnt have a bad bone in his body
4.) its steinsons fault for being too quick
5.) some people would say it was only worthy of a wellow (steve bruce:rolleyes:)
6.) diaby only made an attempt to go for the ball.
Sorry, but Diaby didn't end Steinsson's season, so he doesn't deserve our sympathy. If Steinnsson had been horribly injured, then we could defend Diaby, and blame Steinsson for Diaby's agony.

Not to belabor the point, but did anyone see the soccernet headline a week or two ago, "Taylor backed to recover from Eduardo horror tackle"? If you'd been in the jungle for a month and didn't know the story, what conclusion would you have drawn from that headline?

How can you recover when you're crap in the first place?

Don't forget as well that Blatter will say that Diaby should be outlawed in football.

I found another lookalike for Diaby besides Vieira the other day:

I think he was due to play against Man City - don't think he did though. He is fit to play now, that kicking leg of his needs some fine tuning

Well, according to 'reports', Dudu is doing better ..
Link (http://arsenalanalysis.blogspot.com/2008/05/eduardo-now-in-light-running-mode.html)
“I am working a lot. I undertake physiotherapy every day and now I feel much better. Everything is going according to schedule and I stick to the programme” he said.

It seems that the Brazilian air aided by the highly regarded expertise of his doctor in Brazil, Jose Luis Runco, have done the trick.

Croatian sports papers are now reporting that Eduardo is able to do light jogging albeit in slow mode.

Hmm .. Good news .. :) ..

The key words for me are:

"His return according to the press is now expected in early September"

Modern medicine is amazing.

Modern medicine is amazing.

So is the Human Spirit. Can't wait to see Eduardo back on the pitch.

I hope his recovery goes well, mental recovery will be tougher than physically.

People dont realise his injury probably cost us the title, along with Gilberto sitting on the bench.

If I were to say Gilberto gave manutd the title by stupidly giving them that freekick, it would probably be a more accurate statement.

Eduardo's injury was a major factor in our late-season fade, I agree. Not sure Gilberto would have brought much more to the table than Flamini did, though. Probably less, considering Gilberto's play the majority of the time he was on the pitch this season.

I am hoping he reverts to his form from 06-07 for the upcoming season, as I suspect we'll need him.

First of all that is a stupid statement saying a foul given is a reason for a title failure, then lets go over every goal we conceded in the season and blame them too...

Anyway he was man of the match against Man U, clearly me and Wenger have the same views on style of play and performance rather than your silly fan talk....

yeah....that's why he made the choice to bench Gilberto while you whined about Gilberto not playing.

I know Wenger rated Gilberto over Flamini, but he is loyal to excellent form and has great loyalty to a player who is playing well so he stuck with Flamini, great loyalty is something i dont have as much of....

Gilberto had several chances to win his place back, and he effed it up.

Flamini started over Gilberto because he deserved to start over Gilberto, and I hope we bring someone in, or give that spot to Toure.

Except that it was a phantom foul. He never touched him.
