Guess the radio feed won't reach NYC. Unfortunately, the game is not on MLS Shootout.
As far as the Crew game goes, hopefully our GREAT roll will continue. I know we always struggle with the Crew, but maybe we're due for a break.
A tie would be a good result, but IMHO a win isn't out of the question. The way I see it is, either a 1-1 draw or a 2-1 Galaxy win.
GO, GALAXY, GO!!!!!!!!!!

Wednesday afternoon, in fact; the game starts at 4:30 Pacific. In short, given the lack of TV, this really gargles hippopotamus balls.

Another mind-numbingly clever retort from a quakes fan. I never fail to marvel at the depth and subtlty of their comments. I am sure he makes all SJ fans proud.

And you were expecting something else from this particular fan?

You can listen to it on Crew radio, linked from their website ( TheCrew.com , or some such a thing as that) if you have internet. I have Thurs. am off (Korea time) and I just got cable internet, so maybe I can hear it a little less choppily than last time.
Here's a direct link to the stream from the Crew Network. WEGE 1039AM (http://www.eagle1039.com/Eagle1039live.asx)
KSPNs broadcast of the match will be delayed until 7PM (not sure of the reason for that)
Also, Sigi has decided to rest 'Lexi and Cien. Both didn't make the trip to Ohio. Sigi wants to rest them as we are in the middle of a bunch of 2 match weeks. This will be the first match all season (Including Open Cup) that 'Lexi hasn't played.

Bruthas...
Danny Califf will be a judas this Wednesday night.
I am getting the ole' Califf is on a warpath feeling.
especially after PZ's post that sigi is sitting Alexi.
Tyronne cant leash that
Monster. I feel with McBride and the speed the
Crew has... spells doooom !!! Califf hates speed
and quickness it's like his cryptonite.
we're gonna have to play alot of defensive mid-fielders to make up for this.
But on the other end.... Fishy and Cobi look like a pretty dangerous pair... can make for a shoot-out
GO GALAXY !!!!!

You didn't think they would pre-empt Doug & Joe, did you?
BTW: The LA Times sports calendar at p.2 fails to note that there is ANY coverage on radio. Did LAG or KSPN fail to get our a press release info to LAT, or did LAT drop the ball?
In the words of Howard Cosell (courtesy of the late Jim Healey), "Who goofed. I've got to know!"

Wouldn't surprise me if "all of the above" were the correct answer. :p

The Galaxy's weekly update press release that I got today did mention the delayed broadcast on KSPN-1110. This is fine with me as I thought I was going to miss the beginning of the game working.
But you can still catch the game en vivo en espaņol on KTNQ-1020.
Said press release also mentioned that the Galaxy will be trying to become the first MLS team all year to win 3 consecutive league matches (I think that's what it said - it seems surprising that no one's done it yet). So this plus the absence of Lalas and Cienfuegos makes me think we're looking at a hold-your-nose-and-hope-for-a-point game...
Injury Reports.
COLUMBUS CREW
OUT:
M John Harkes (sprained MCL-R)
M John Wilmar Perez (sprained MCL-L)
F Brian McBride (sprained ankle-L)
QUESTIONABLE:
D Mike Clark (strained hamstring-R)
D Eric Denton (sprained ankle-L)
LOS ANGELES GALAXY
OUT:
F Isaias Bardales (knee sprain-R);
PROBABLE:
F Chris Albright (strained hamstring-R)
So, no McHead. That sure doesn't hurt our chances of possibly coming home with some points.

Proud? I dunno about that. But he vocalizes what the rest of us are thinking.

Why would he waste bandwidth to tell us what we already know? Do you want a parade of LAG posters to come to the SJ board and say nothing more than that?

Gato
Ez Marshall Califf Waibel
Cobi Petey Sasha Kiwi
Fishy Moreno
I think I'm remembering that lineup right, but that gives us nothing on the left wing. Cobi can wander over there, I suppose.
