Ebay, PayPal, and Visa Gift Card

So, I just bought something off Ebay. I want to pay for it using a Visa gift card, but everything I try at paypal.com and ebay.com wants me to use the Visa debit card that is attached to my bank account.

I think I can send the money through PayPal if I have the seller's email address. I've already contacted them requesting this information.

Any other ideas?
