We're certainly going to be missing Mark here. It's the ideal game for him. But at least Ribery should start again so we'll have that creative outlet back, whether its enough for a win remains to be seen.

Lell was very good coming off the bench again in the Cup. It's about time he starts over Sagnol. He'll most likely go with Ottl next to Ze and Schweinsteiger alongside Ribery. Klose will most likely start again as well.

I predict another draw. 1-1.

Schalke's coach is under a lot of pressure. This could work for and against us. On the one side, the team is going to be motivated etc. On the other side they might come out playing too offensive because they want a win, and no team in the BL can match us in an offensive shootout. There best bet would be to do what 59 did and play for the draw.

It has been always tough for Bayern to play in that stadium, if by next monday Bayern still has 4 points over Bremen, I'm happy.

wow that comes off as pretty arrogant considering this is a good team you're playing, at their home ground.

How many teams succeeded against us by playing offensively and for a win?
The right strategy is to go very defensively and try to score with counters or with a push in the last minutes.

I got sick when Ottl was mentioned to replace Van Bommel against Schalke. But it will probably happen. :(

I predict another draw. 1-1.

We must start winning in this league you know. We made 1-1 with Bremen, Hamburg and now with Schalke? That's lame for a team who has spend so mucg money this year.

Schalke can play on equal terms with bayern, that's what I'm saying.

They won't need to stonewall like most teams.

Like the first half of the Wuppertal game.

Schweini, Klose and Lucio are doubtful because of injuries.

I am going to predict Schalke 2:1 Bayern. We have never won a match at the Veltins arena...infact the best result that we ever achieved was a 1:1 draw. This is the perfect trap match after opening a 4 point lead on Bremen. With the loss of van Bommel our central midfield will struggle against Schalke.

this is way too big of a match too predict... anything can happen win/lose/draw... and reasoning can go for any of those sides

---win, we should we are the bigger better team

---draw, no surprise because our opponents played their best match against us and we've played slightly down to their level

---lose, they brought their best match and overcame adversity to beat us

it could go on and on with reasoning... in the end this is Schalke, WE MUST WIN

I hope we lose.:p We have far too many ties this season.;)

I'll put it differently... I just don't have high expectations this time.

Kicker

"Rekordmeister FC Bayern München bangt vor dem Hit am Samstag beim FC Schalke 04 um zwei Stammkräfte. Der brasilianische Abwehrchef Lucio und Nationalstürmer Miroslav Klose sind nach dem 1:0-Sieg nach Verlängerung im DFB-Pokal-Viertelfinale gegen den TSV 1860 München angeschlagen. Ihr Einsatz bei den "Königsblauen" ist fraglich. Ribéry dagegen ist sicher mit dabei."
