nbcolympics.com and give the soccer site hits and ask for a lot of soccer coverage in the olympics. I don't know what NBC's view of soccer is but it may help if their site is getting a lot of hits. Pass this on and start the campaign.

I recall the aforementioned Andres Cantor doing the PbP, in English, but I can't remember who did the special comments.

That would be "Alexi Lalas - General Manager of the LA Galaxy".

Well, I appreciate your perspective on things. But I have to respectfully take issue with it, I think. Really, I guess the point is that things aren't always so black-and-white, so cut-and-dried, so, just... clear-cut. You know?
That's the value of a forum like this, though. Talking stuff out and seeing the viewpoints of others helps us ultimately arrive at a truth, if not always the truth. To that end, I appreciate the opportunity to have shared this dialogue with you.
Take care --

I think that after the worlds that they Olympic team will get some more mainstream coverage. I don't think they will pass up the oppertunity to show Adu and co. in some hopefully highscoring games.
I actually read a couple articles on the site. I'll have to bookmark it.
Opps, I got a little sidtracked. My intention was to erase that right away an make a real comment.

John O'Brien.
Funny enough, I just had a dream where I asked JOB to officially retire so we can stop the retreads on whether or not he's still trying to make a comeback.
He was pissed that I asked and showed me the door. Nice guy though.

Hillarious I want to have a dream where Jesus returns to play LB in 2010. I have faith that I'd be left behind to see the results.

Would you rather have Jesus or Roberto Carlos as your left back?

Correct. QF: 2-2 full time, Hidetoshi Nakata's 4th PK beat Friedel but clanged off Friedel's right post, the only miss of the shoot-out. Semis: Spain ran rings around us, 3-1 and ours was a PK. Bronze: Zamorano happened, 0-2. Chile got the bronze. USMNT has not medaled in the Olympics yet.
USWNT won gold in Atlanta, silver in Sydney (Norway beat them), gold in Athens.
