I have a low tech question. What is the best and safest way to clean a MacBook screen?

You should be gentle with LCD screens. I have a special tool for cleaning dust, but I think any soft microfiber cloth will do. If you have something a little more stuck on there, use water or a little diluted alcohol on the cloth. Do not use cotton or paper. Don't press down hard. Don't use a spray.
