It crossed my mind but I expected some sort of new manager bounce. Instead we look worse. I'm not even really calling for him to be sacked I just want to see what everyone else is thinking.
Really? Excuse me while i pick myself up off the floor in incredulous disbelief...Which part of the histrionic "Sack Keegan v1.0" title leads anyone not to believe your are calling for his head after five games?
Occam's Razor making the cutting clean-n-all that, how does this square with the "Give Allardyce a chance" meme you flogged so much here? Good for me is not good for thee?

Are you Mitt Romney in disguise? Last month you whined about Big Sam and wanted him sacked now you want play the stability card incidentally I started the Sack Big Sam thread and I didn't want Sam sacked. I created this thread as a place to discuss the fortunes of KK.
If you find my positions frustrating cancel your AOL membership and go back to building rockets or solving complex math problems or whatever it is Mensa members like yourself do when not crying on internet message boards.

Thanks for the compliment. But why would I, as a Pirate, do that when its so much fun poking you for a reaction?
I am trying to give Keegan, the poor bastard, a chance and the benefit of the doubt. He really is the Geordie Messiah and will be crucified for his popularity and inabilty to live up to expectations no matter what he does, in the hope NUFC will have a better future.

It seems you forgot your Asian and South American favorite teams. I on the other hand only support the Toon so please don't come over here and tell me how I should give Keegan a chance when he shouldn't have the goddamn job to begin with and for the final ********ing time I'm not even calling for him to be sacked you miserable ********!!
I'm sorry that was harsh "The Fox". Please consider post #22 as a token of my friendship.

I think "go die in a fire", "******** off", or "go play in traffic" would have also sufficed.

Great idea! Think of all the newspapers they would sell with "Sack Christ!" as the headline. This is why every football fan, writer and pundit outside of Newcastle thinks our club is run by morons for morons. If you think KK is some sort of deity your on crack. Get a clue.
And then you'll be asking yourself this summer, "why doesn't player X or Y want to come to the Toon?"

That whooosh sound you just heard was the joke flying over your (proper use of the word) head. My advice, take a deep breath and go outside for a few minutes. The fact that you had to come back to my post twice and comment on it and still miss the joke leads me to believe you might need a break.

Does the phrase "Geordie Messiah" ring a bell? My statement was directed to those that think he's the second coming.

Your assessment is so wrong that it's almost a work of art. Ashley and Mort have no idea what they're doing. When KK was hired we sat in 10th place and a Europe spot was just around the corner according to some.
1. Only spent 10 million quid this summer on a team that needed to be gutted.
2. Ashley hired Dennis Wise as Director of Football
3. Ashley hired a man who hadn't watched a league game in three years to take over from a manger that had an awful team sitting in 10th place after 21 games.
4. Ashley hired a London property developer to handle transfer negotiations.
5. Ashley wears a Smith replica and stands with the traveling supporters
6. Spent nothing in the winter transfer window
7. Fired BSA after 21 games for not playing a more attacking style
8. Almost hired Harry Redknapp until he turned us down
9. Takes counsel from a former Spurs executive which is like have Ray Charles teach Stevie Wonder how to drive.
Get a clue:rolleyes:
Please everyone step back and heed the blinding flame of knowledge that boils about Jay's, no erm, Dirt's head.
Its the standard: "My Expert™ opinion is greater because I just spew negative filth at everyone who doesn't agree with me until I am blue in the face and my head explodes" aka: "the Emre Offense", on every topic.
He really thinks it is that important.

Being angry and sad won't help you understand what you're watching ( nor will it help Emre stay injury free or make KK tactically competent), but please feel free to list all of Ashley's outstanding accomplishments since taking over the team.

See there is where you get it wrong. I am not angry or sad about the Toon's situation. I am disappointed, but I feel no emotional need to go out and jump upon every opportunity to try and prove my point because we are disappointing.
You need to dispassionately disengage yourself sometimes. Pegging the outrage meter to often is not good for your heart, both physically and metaphorically.

Thanks for the insight Dr.Phil and thanks for the class on business Donald Trump. Today I learned a successful business needs to pay down debt and have your own people running it regardless if those people are best suited to run said business or not. I also learned that I should have no emotional investment in my favorite club team. Well done.
Class schedule tomorrow:
9am -10am - Why tactics are so overrated.
10am -11am - Is defense even necessary?
11am -12pm - How to run a football team without even trying
12pm - 1pm - Lunch
1pm - 2pm - Learning to avoid facts and statistics in everyday life
2pm - 3pm - Emre: A breakdown of his injuries and insults
3pm - 4pm - BSA: The cause of global warming?
4pm - 4:01pm - Tactical breakdown by KK for the upcoming home fixture.
4:02pm - 5pm - Alan Oliver: Undercover Mackem?

The mind reelsPlay the ball not the man. That's your problem. Anytime someone starts to prove you wrong(frequent occurrence) you try and get personal and then you get your feelings hurt. You'd best be served to stay on topic. The topic being Mike Ashley is clueless and has put this club in a bad position. I've told you before either refute my arguments with facts or stfu but when you resort to personal attacks you only expose yourself and your arguments as weak.

All pissing contest (i.e. pseudo-flaming attacks on other users) discussion must go here from now on, mostly because no one else wants to read your infantile bullshit.
If you go outside this thread you get infracted. Consider yourself warned.

Why do we have to bring the facts? You don't... you speculate just as much as anyone else.
Do you have facts to prove that Dennis Wise will be a failure at his new position? No.
Do you have facts to prove why Ashley fired BSA? No.
Do you have facts to prove that wearing a team shirt and occasionally standing with fans destroys clubs? No.
Not to mention that your hindsight is always 20/20. I never remember you calling for the team to be gutted this summer, but you are now unhappy we didn't. I never remember you calling for panic buys, but you are mad we didn’t sign anyone in January. You actually have a few posts praising the young players we brought and happy we aren’t “overpaying for average talent” or “rockstar signings.”
This isn’t meant as a personal attack, I am trying my best to “Play the ball not the man” but don’t play the fact card on the rest of us when you have none yourself.

I have the same access to the media as you and I've read the same stories as you. I don't have the time or inclination to link to every article that helped shape my opinions over the past season but I'm quite confident in my assertion the Mort and Ashley have taken over the club without a solid plan for the future. The team played much better when BSA was in charge and statistics bear this out and again do your own research. As far as the personal attacks it's the freaking internet who cares but if your going to do it don't cry about it when it comes back on you.

Why not wait until Keegan has coached as many games as Sam before comparing? (Although it's an asinine comparison as Allardyce was at least allowed to make his own grave by buying this horrendous side.)

Why not wait until Keegan has coached as many games as Sam before comparing? (Although it's an asinine comparison as Allardyce was at least allowed to make his own grave by buying this horrendous side.)Name one team in the top 10 that would want to hire KK as their manager. Then ask yourself if he was the best manager available for the job. The ask yourself the same question for Dennis Wise and the DOF position. ********ing Spurs got Juande Ramos and cup glory meanwhile Ashley goes out and tries to get Harry Redknapp and when that fails then some how convinces Kelvin Koogan to unretire.
You don't see how much of a joke we're as a club. Try wearing your Toon shirt into a pub to watch a game Saturday morning. It's ********ing pathic and honestly I don't know what to say anymore. I'm sick of it. I pray DIC come in for the club this summer and fire everyone with the quickness.
