"I feel I have been too loyal to some players in the squad and it might just be that there will be four or five changes for the next game. The ones on the outside of the team must be hellishly frustrated as the ones who are playing at the moment just aren't delivering."

Are we long overdue for an overhaul or should Coppell continue to tinker? What changes need to be made to turn this train around?

If desperate times call for desperate measures, I'd like to see a 3-5-2 that includes Murty, Shorey and Bikey at the back, with Kebe, Convey, Harper, Matejovsky and Hunt in the middle.

Lita's going to get his shot, but who does he come in for? Doyle or Kitson? Would you make the overhaul complete with Lita and Long?

Doyle hasn't done squat so I would swap him for Lita. I would leave Kitson in for now, but have Long on the bench. Yeah, I'd leave Doyle completly out of the squad. The new hair cut hasn't done anything for his game. And I like the formation, have Hunt as the attacking mid. I think he could do some damage in that roll.

Lita in for Doyle, Doyle on the bench (Long hasn't been such a super sub lately). Although I like the 5 PC has in midfield, there's no way we can go with 3 in the back, and except for Hunt, I don't see a lot of defensive help in those 5. And most times Reading try to switch formation it does not end well. OK, not only does it not end well (when was the last time it ended well? Oh yeah - I remember 2007), but the whole game play is pretty much crud.

I found it interesting that Convey did not play in the reserves today after playing 90 minutes in the last resv game (Th?) and not making the bench on Sunday. Lita, Long, Bikey, and Kebe were among the starters, with Long scoring in the 1-1 tie. I can see Coppell giving those 4 time to help him make a decision on who to start on Sat - esp Bikey and Kebe. If Convey does not play again Saturday I have NO idea what's going on with him.

So with a 4-4-2:

MH
Murty Sonko Ing Shorey
Kebe Harper Marek Hunt
Kits Lita

Fed, DeLa, Convey, Doyle, Bikey

Look for Convey to sub in for Kebe and Hunt move to the right at about 60.

I'd like to see that lineup tomorrow.
