I'll go with.........

--------------Pepe-------------

Finnan----JC------Sami---Aurelio

--------Masch-----Alonso-------

Kuyt-------Gerrard--------Babel

------------Torres-------------

We do have a home game against West Ham 3 days later, but I think we have to get the away win first- so our 'A' lineup for this game. ;)

I would actually like to see us go more offensive in this game. I know we are away from home, but honestly our record isn't that bad away from home. This is a Anelka-less Bolton. I really don't feel scared of single striker attack led by Samaras or whoever they have up top.

-----------------------Reina--------------------------
Arbeloa-------Carra-----------Sami---------Aurelio
-----------------------Masch-------------------------
Pennant-----------Gerrard-----------------Kewell
-----------Torres---------------Kuyt-----------------

Subs - Finnan, Alonso, Babel, Benayoun, Crouch

Arbeloa will provide more speed on the right flank than Finnan to attack. I give Pennant and Kewell a game together on the wings. Masch holds it down, while Gerrard does his usual super hero works. Torres scores goals, while Kuyt runs around really hard and produces a couple of good moments.

0-1 to Liverpool, Torres to score again.

I take Kuyt off and play Pennant there and that would be my side. Would not be surprised to see Skrtel play this match if he is fit. I dunno if Bolton is now a tough place to play as it was under Fat Sam but I think it is going to be a tight affair.

It'd be nice to win this one.

That's all I'm going to commit myself to at this stage.

Seconded.

Predicting Liverpool games has become impossible for me.

carra... skrtel... hyypia... arbs
sg... xabi... masch... babel
torres... kuyt...

if rafa wants to win the next three prem games, just put the 11 best guys out there and let them win -- no need to get into major strategy against bolton, west ham, and newcastle...

0-2 liverpool win...

Especially the latter, the Magpies are just leaking goals at the moment.

The point of rotation was to keep the best players fresh for the late push in the season. While others are losing their legs, our legs will be rested!

Now that we're three points down with a game in hand, and a whole lot of company for the fourth spot, it's time for Rafa to select his best team and go get the points. Let's see the fruit of the early season rotation!

It's disaster if we finish out of the top 4.

I say score one more goal than we let in, and get away with 3 points:D

I love Masch but we dont need him for a game against Bolton. I don't anticipate seeing Bolton pushing men forward at all. Fabio and Finnan can over lap on the wings. Alonso offers more creativity than Masch in the Center. Gerrard should be allowed to roam free and exploit any space he can find. Pennant and Babel, if either of you can produce a successful cross I might crap my pants. Let Crouch play way up high and Torres run and run all day. I would love to see Torres and Crouch play together more often, it just seems whenever we through Peter on the field we spend 90 minutes lumping the ball forward from defense.

Rafa needs to send these guys out and tell them to spend the first 20 minutes balls to the wall attack. I dont want to be looking for the opening salvo in the 80th minute here, we will see a bunker mentality from Bolton. This a basement team and we should cut them up.

Bolton is aweful this year, and Megson would do well to save them from the drop. Anelka might have the potential to finish as Bolton's leading scorer this year, and he wouldn't have played half the season with them.

Right now he has 11 total goals in a Bolton uniform. His next challengers are Diouf and Nolan, both at 5 total goals.

In their last 9 matches Bolton has scored 6 goals, and two of those were in a 2-nil away win against Reading. But they are not giving up that much. Two of their recent losses have come against Rovers.

I agree that this is a team to attack vigorously. When the opponent scores first, Bolton has not won this season.

Bolton plays rugby, Liverpool plays football.

Hope to see a win, I loathe Bolton.

Interestingly enough, Bolton, while in the top third of bookings, has no red cards. Middlesbrough, arguably, plays rougher football, and then there's Rovers.
