My sister and I have both gotten to be fairly big Revs fans, and attended out first game last June, the one in which Wolde had the amazing bicycle kick goal that unfairly got called back. Anyways, we're planning on going to the San Jose game this saturday and thought we'd like to get their early and watch the warmups, if that's possible. Do the players even warm up on the main field? If so when does that run - how early should we get their to catch it?

Also, what is a good solution for parking? I've read in some other threads that you can park across the street for $10

Thanks and Go Revs!

for the parking.....
we come from the north and park at the first lot just to the "south" of the stadium on the right. large yellow arrow that says "park here". its $10, short walk to the stadium, and you're out instantaneously......aaaand...its not a kraft lot. (uh, well, he just bought it and ownership i think is changing hands sept 1.....that guys is always finding new ways to rain on my parade.)

If you are driving down Rte 1 from the north, just after the traffic lights where there is a Papa Ginos on one side and a Micky D's on the other you will come to a large liquor store on your right. There is also a Subway and a large ATM bank shack. You can park there for $5 for regular games, $10 for big matches. If the guy isn't out with an orange flag look in the liquor store.

The players come out about 50 minutes before game time.

Welcome to BS and Go Revs!

yea, the lots on the other side of Rt 1 are def better then Gillette's $15 ripoff. These guys pretty much sumed it up, even when the revs dont win and break your heart, you can still have alot of fun due to the crowd.

The Revolution players and those from the oppossing team do warm-up on the Gilette Stadium field. Not exactly how long prior to kick-off, but probably about the same time they open the gates to the stadium.

Questions about attending a Revos game?

The first - and most important thing - you need to know is to bring cash, and lots of it, since the team left Foxborough Stadium for the Razor.

All other items - including unruly children - need to be left in your automobile, no matter where you park.

You won't need to bring any fancy cup holders or ear plugs, but sunglasses and sunblock would help if it is a 4 or 6 pm kickoff.

If the match is tied entering extra time, you'll need plenty of tissues or handkerchiefs. It won't be possible to cry in your beer, because sales stop long before then.

Oh, did I mention money?

Enjoy!
